Really disappointed...

I excitingly ordered a 5-spice ramen off the 'new menu' only to get a tasteless broth, of which the noodles were cooked way passed Al dente, completely shredded beneath a pathetic layer of what I can only describe as...aromat, maybe?

The sushi, immediately, by the colour of the tuna was evidently close to if not already expired. Prawn was overcooked & very oily. The condiments smelled... Bad :( Ginger was pink from artificial colouring & that begs the question to think about how many other fake ingredients there are to give the illusion of freshness.

The food took extremely long to top it all off. We were the only customers in the store, so there is actually no excuse.

Sad to say the experience has shaken me & I will probably avoid Simply Asia's in the future if this is the kind of quality they are delivering, especially after revising...

The 201 is delicious, full of flavor. I have ordered it twice. The 303 which is chilli basil is delicious. I always order it. On one occasion the beef was not correct it was hard with no flavor, it tasted like minute steaks but the owner called me and told me "she thinks they must have over cooked it". I think the meat had been frozen. I ordered a side dish of veggies and it was horrible. I complained about the portion. Not even a fu piece of cauliflower or brocolli. The owner told me each portion is supposed to be 30fg but it is very obvious I was not served 30g for each item. I actually took a picture as I was shocked at what I was served. Plus it was all soggy. Today I ordered the 303 again, the flavor was absolutely amazing but the meat was a little dry and hard. Definitely not good quality but 5...

This Simply Asia branch is an absolute gem—hands down the best I’ve ever visited! Their service is nothing short of phenomenal, I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my order, whether dining in or ordering via Mr D. Every single time, my meal arrives perfectly prepared and warm, exactly as ordered!

The staff? Beyond amazing! Accommodating, warm, and genuinely friendly. They went above and beyond to set up an outdoor seating area just so I could enjoy my meal with my little puppies, how thoughtful is that?!

And the owner? A class act! Humble, professional, and deeply committed to providing top-tier service. It’s rare to find a restaurant that gets everything right, but this Simply Asia Cambridge Crossing exceeds...
