NetCafé — Restaurant in Gauteng

My experience here, on 20th of August, was extremely disappointing.

Ordered breakfast with tea. Received the normal tea pot, cup and milk (see uploaded photo) as in many other restaurants. But milk was so small it could hardly whiten one cup of tea. I asked for a bit more milk and was told 'yes but that will cost extra R4.' Disappointed but ordered extra milk anyway.

A while later manager came around to hear if we are enjoying our breakfast. I mentioned 'yes, but I feel disappointed about the size of milk with tea'. That was not welcomed. She aggressively responded with a barage of comments. 'She is only the manager and can do nothing about it ' This is how it is!.' 'If I dont like it I should approach Bidvest' etc etc.' She never identified herself.

I don't get that. What was then the point of asking? And why give feedback to a manager if she is not going to take it up? What kind of manager have no authority to make a decision about milk for tea?

At some point during her aggressive responses I took out my phone and took a photo of her. (I should have switched on the microphone). She did not take well to that. Exploded in anger. Loudly returned two more times to my table to threaten legal processes if I dare to publish her photo. In my view she was in capacity of company representative. And still have not identified herself.

What an un-enjoyable breakfast! My experience here was...

I was at your establishment on Sunday. I got there at about 14.45 and order a burger and chips. My order was packed in takeaway box. I got it at about 14.50. The cashier told me that I can still sit and enjoy my meal. At 15.00, while busy eating and with my burger in my hands, the manager on duty came to me and told me to find a seat somewhere else as the cafe is closed and they needed to pack the table and chair. I asked him to give me a chance to finish my meal. He still insisted I move. I stood my ground and continued to eat my meal. I didnt enjoy my meal as he was literally staring at me the whole time Im eating. WORST EXPERIENCE...

This is a perfect restaurant. We've eaten at many Netcafé restaurants, but this one takes the cake (or rather the lemon meringue (best ever)). We've eaten here every Wednesday for 12 weeks so far. We've had breakfast, lunch, cake, cappuccino, and many other dishes. Each as good as the previous, and the next. No complaints whatsoever. Service is super. Staff are extremely professional, efficient, and friendly. Food is outstanding. We thoroughly enjoy eating and relaxing here while we wait patiently. I highly recommend the glazed...
