Enjoyed a fantastic lunch at Ocean Basket today with two friends! Our midday seafood feast was exactly what we needed to break up the workday and Bridget was an amazing waitron.
One of us ordered the calamari, which arrived perfectly tender with a light, crispy coating that wasn't heavy for a lunch option. My other friend chose the seafood platter which was impressively generous for a lunch portion - beautifully presented with a variety of seafood favorites that didn't leave them feeling overstuffed for the afternoon.
I opted for the sushi selection which proved to be a great lunch choice - light, fresh, and expertly prepared with quality ingredients that satisfied without weighing me down.
The service was prompt and efficient - perfect for those of us who needed to get back to work, while still allowing us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. The bright, airy atmosphere made for a refreshing midday break.

I had one of the worst dining experiences of my life at Ocean Basket Woodlands. From start to finish, the service was beyond pathetic. Our waiter,, was utterly useless — completely inattentive, unbothered, and showed zero urgency or care for the customers. We waited over 30 minutes just for drinks, and an insane 2 hours for food that should’ve taken 20 minutes at most.
I raised the issue three times with the so-called manager, who was just as ineffective. No apology, no accountability, no effort to make things right. The entire staff seemed disinterested and completely overwhelmed. It’s clear there is no leadership, no training, and no respect for customers’ time.
This wasn’t just slow service — it was outright incompetence. Ocean Basket should be ashamed to have a branch run this poorly. I will not be back, and I suggest anyone who values their time and money avoid this...

We waited 45min plus for our order to arrive just find out that it was not what we ordered. The grilled fish was anyway still partly uncooked with a burnt skin, and thats why we ordered everything deep fried, but they waitor had grilled ,"fish stuck" in his head or it was drilled into his head during training. I remember telling him 3x times that it must be deep fried. We informed the manager, cancelled our orders and left. Could not wait another 45min for another wrong order. Retraining of your staff or reviewing your staff selection policies, if any, are at this point critical. I have observed before that your staff cannot manage when OB gets even a little busy.
