The manager Michael made a mistake with our payment method, as every human does from time-to-time, but when confronted about this to find a solution for the error he dismissed us and claimed that this was not his problem and none of his business. He told us to leave or he will call security, he told us that he wont fix anything and we should return on monday. Only after we contacted our legal advisor did he call his head office to try and resolve this issue. Only after the commotion died down did he apologize and admit to his error. This behavior from the manager Michael is unacceptable. As a place that serves the public we live by the code "the customer is always right" and this time around the customer was right but the manager, over-confident, because we are a young black couple tried to take advantage of the situation and disrespectfully dismissed our concerns. We told him of his error in a calm manner and tried our best to show him what we meant by "and error was made" instead we were greeted by arrogance and unprofessional behavior. On 1st October on what was our anniversary I suggested to my son we go out for dinner. There was 3 of us as his partner would be going with. Due to the time we decided to get take aways as we only got there around 7:30. We ordered seafood and for lunch for next day for work 2 sushi platters. We got home and ate. Thursday morning my son told me he was not impressed with the food. I agreed considering our total bill was almost R1700. At work I took out my platter for lunch and was not impressed.
