This past weekend, my friends and I went to Peaches, and unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. When we arrived, there was a banner advertising cocktail specials. We spoke to our server and mentioned that we wanted to order from the specials, and she confirmed that they were available. However, about five minutes later, the manager approached us and, in a condescending tone, told us that the cocktail special was no longer available. She then mentioned there was another special, but it was more expensive. When we did the math, we realized the prices were just the regular ones. We later spoke to a different server (not ours), who informed us that the special had been available earlier but suddenly became "unavailable" when we arrived. At this point, we expressed that we felt we were being treated unfairly due to racism.
This server also claimed that the manager has a history of discriminatory behavior, particularly towards Black customers. I strongly urge people of colour to avoid Peaches, as their actions suggest a lack of respect and care. The manager should be held accountable for her behavior, especially in 2024, when such blatant racism should not still...
Read moreI go here very often with my friend(logan) and his mother(heidi), if you dine/drink here alot you might have seen her with the bright pink hair. Honestly there is not much to say that is negative besides it feels quite cramped at times which is understandable in my opinion but with the one slightly negative comment out of the way this place is by far one of my favorite dining/drinking experiences out of any of the many restaurants I have been at. It is family friendly, there is an urban modern feeling to it that i absolutely love the people are so nice and lively, the entire place just exudes positive vibes that I cannot get enough of. The staff is amazing, very friendly and extremely hospitable I genuinly feel at home at this place and you bet you'll be seeing me there alot. And lastly the food is amazing no complaints there they have an absolutly artistic chef and I would highly recommend the halloumi wrapped in bacon with an original sauce aswell as the hake that just tastes fresh. The floor manager is a delight aswell with a beautiful smile. All in all a great place to go to if you want to relax and have a few drinks...
Read moreWe made a booking for lunch with 4 friends a day in advance. We got there around 13:45 and was shown to a table for 4. We placed our orders, a main meal with drinks (cocktail for me) and later on dessert. At first everything seemed ok since we was sitted comfortably and having a good chat. Around 16:30 the waiter tells us that there was a booking for a higher number of people (that would come in at 17:15) and they had to join the tables with ours, and requested that we move to another table in the centre. We asked him why that is since we made a booking as well, only for him to tell us that a booking is only allowed for 3 hours sitting. Well, I have never heard of such in my whole life of dining in. So a big notice on your restaurant would be good next time, so that people can be aware that they're only allowed only three hours to sit without being disturbed. This really put us off as we then left that place to go to another welcoming restaurant with better service. Since we left after 17:30 the table we were told to move from was not even occupied still, so what a great impression...
