Roman's Pizza Lakefield — Restaurant in Gauteng

My only regret is not coming to the lakefield branch sooner! As Edenvale residents we'd always drive to fordsburg for a halaal roman's pizza all these years. When we finally tried this branch we were so impressed. The base and toppings are all cooked to perfection and never sloppy in appearance. You WILL definitely taste the difference. We've tried a variety of their pizzas in the last few months and each time we think we found a favorite we were gladly surprised by the consistency in quality and pride they put in their pizzas. we go here often as its next door to the car wash, so while the wheels gets a wash we enjoy a meal and the kids play.

The only issue I have - on hot days the playground get so hot my poor kids cannot play! I walked on the rubber floor barefeet one day and felt the heat was a bit much... The plastic swing and slide for the mini me's was so hot I could not let my 1yr old slide off.

Apart from that - the service is great! Food is exceptional! And the play...

I phoned and ordered. Was told to collect in 25mins. I got there after 30mins and was told sorry they haven’t even started with my pizza , I need to wait another 30-40mins. Found this really bad service. Rather be straight over the phone and say it will take an hour. There was no parking available so not sure how they expected me to wait. Was very disappointed. Don’t take phone orders if you unable to provide the service efficiently and your customers end...
