Roman's Pizza Willows Crossing — Restaurant in Gauteng

I ordered 2 pizzas via the Roman's Pizza app. After placing the order, I received a notification in app and an sms, both stating that the order will be at my door in 25 minutes. I thought this sounds reasonable, as the delivery address was 5 minutes away at most. Unfortunately, it took over an hour for the delivery to arrive, which is a big failure of service delivery in my view i.e., making false promises.

The price of pizzas was surprisingly expensive, I also don't get why they put stickers on the box with the intent to guarantee the pizzas weren't tampered with, then the stickers are so poor that they arrive either shrivelled up or flapping about and not achieving their intended purposes.

As for the pizza itself. Nothing to write home about. It was okay. Tasted okay, looked okay, not a memorable experience, but there are much worse pizza places in Pta East.

The delivery driver was friendly and respectful, which was the only positive I experienced. I hope the large delivery charge includes the "driver tip", but it isn't mentioned...

My wife and I love Romans. Our favorite food to order: Hawaiin pizza with extra feta and also the chef salad.

We ordered the Chef Salad on Saturday 12th December and we ordered another chef salad today 15 December.

What a disappointment.

On Saturday we ordered the salad with Greek dressing. There were so much lettuce in the salad that it was not funny and we also received a honey and mustard sauce where we ordered greek salad dressing.

Today, we ordered the GREEK SALAD DRESSING, yet again, with the chef salad but once again, received honey and mustard sauce.

The salad had much less lettuce(thank goodness) but was so salty we almost could not eat it. The salad dressing was so thick that we had to scrape it out of the cup.

I then called the shop to explain what we received and the response was, ok.

This has been the 4th incident where we did not receive what we ordered ... before it was pizzas not having feta on it although we ordered it and paid for it.

Thank you for making it easy NOT TO SUPPORT you any longer.

Most useless romans pizza branch in Gauteng! Had multiple orders incorrect or received very late for instance tonight we placed an order directly on the website and after 45 minutes (the sms states that the order will leave the store in 35 minutes) i called to follow up on our order and they said the driver is on his way and we waited.. after another 30 minutes we still haven't received our order and I phoned again to follow up and was informed that the driver is on his way (living so close to willow way , traffic must have been hectic this time at night for him to drive this long, supppper sarcastic) after a while the driver "phoned" me (my phone rang fo not even half a minute) and when i tried to phone back his phone went straight to voicemail. We ended up driving to romans and did not even get an apology, super disgusted. After everytime we still supported this romans but this was the last time. Will never bother ordering from...
