Steers Drive Thru — Restaurant in Gauteng

Loadsgedding is happening, so I place an order on the Steers app, using my R50 ABSA rewards coupon. Get to the branch, they want to charge me the full amount, pre-discount. That is then sorted after two minutes. It's busy, so I wait. Forty minutes after placing my order nothing has appeared. When I approach the counter a cashier asks "Are you back?". Even though I've been there for almost 30 minutes, trying to be patient because it's Wednesday, loadshedding, and thus busy. They had simply not made my order. I asked if it was normal for orders to take 40 minutes. "No. Sorry. It won't happen again." And yes, that's true, because I will not visit this branch again. Oh, and while I was waiting, a customer brings back an incorrect order. Manager/supervisor gives him the correct order, and then proceeds to put the food from the clearly opened, returned parcel back on the warming tray. Only thing worse than a cold Steers burger? A secondhand, cold Steers burger...

I would rate with zero stars if I could. We have supported steers for many years and we buy the Wacky Wednesday deal almost weekly. I have a bad allergy to sesame seeds, so I always ask for sesame free buns, which I provide, and still pay full price for and I don't mind doing so. We were given the wrong order, and when returning it at the window of the drive -through the staff questioned us for returning it and proceeded to gossip and joke about us and our "special order", assuming that I could not understand them, which I could. When eventually getting our order, the food was a smashed mess. We will definitely not be returning to Steers Atterbury as this is not the first time we were unhappy with the food and...

The cashier was friendly and understanding when we changed some orders after giving them. The food came very fast but we had to wait for the milkshakes, so we ate the fries so long. They still have those sauce stations at this location. We got them and drove hom. Had trouble to figure whos milkshake is whos, maybe add lables? The burgers were amazinggg. I had the Mo Mjojo, very very nice, just very messy😹 the Turkish Delight milkshake is also delicious, just very sweet, keep that in mind when purchasing. Happy...
