Steers Highlands — Restaurant in Gauteng

Steers Highlands Shopping Centre complaint on Sunday 15 Jan. 2023 @ 13h00 below:

After visiting Centurion Mall today (Sunday 15 Jan. 2023) on a very hot Sunday, we decided to stop @ Steers Highlands Shopping Centre to buy Ice Cream. I bought a regular vanilla Ice cream cone with chocolate dip that looked like it was made by a 5 year old kid / child & half (50%) of the regular size with chocolate dip that is very watery. Definitely not like we have come accustomed to @ Steers Hermanus in December 2022... It was very disappointing to see the difference, so I asked the person who made it why it looked so small & like a 5 year old made it... She said that it was the standard size (Two & a half turns blah, blah, blah) but then the standards between different Steers are totally different! Should it not be the same? I said she can take back the Ice cream & I want my money back. She gave me my money & I left.

After we have been to Steers Hermanus for more than 3 times in December buying exactly the same thing I am shocked to see the difference in service between the two Franchises. I suggest that a Steers representative & maybe the owner of Steers Highlands go 'undercover' to the two stores & see for themselves what joke Steers Highlands Shopping Centre is.

I would suggest / recommend that anyone who buys @ Steers Highlands Shopping Centre check their food / purchase & make sure it is up to the standards that it should be. Maybe Steers must first make the food & then if a customer is happy, then they pay for it...

Personally, Steers Highlands Shopping Centre will never see me again! In fact, I will probably only go to Steers Hermanus if I am in Hermanus again. No other Steers will...

Rude staff

I have never been treated so badly by any staff at any resturant. I am a regular at steers highlands but today it will be the last time I set foot in this particular resturant,i will also tell my colleagues and family not to bother going there anymore. I would rather drive to a further steers and recieve great service than spend my hard earned money at steers highlands.

On Thursday 7th of March 2024 at 18h30 I was assisted by a Rude lady called Zama(if this is her real name as she was hesitant to give me her name when i asked). I was shocked at how she responded to me when I told her I've been waiting for Ice cream for more than 10 min, her RUDE response was did you order from me? I told her i ordered from steers and I have been waiting for 10 minutes. This Rude cashier shouted while assisting me,I was with my 5 year old who witnessed everything. All she wanted was ice cream but she was served with anger. I have never been disrespected like this. She proceeded to shout at the top of her lungs to her colleagues telling them I didn't order from her but I'm demanding ice cream from her.

Steers Highlands Management, please train your staff to be proffessional and kind when dealing with clients..weather I'm ordering an ice cream or a full meal..I expect the same treatment. I'm disappointed in the service I received and I will never buy from this specific...

Absolutely terrible service, we understand that they might be under staffed and indunated with online orders but they don't have the decentceny to info customers that have ordered that they will not receive their food. I ordered yesterday afternoon at 17:20 for supper as we had no water and was unable to cook and they sent a message saying they can't process the online order but debited our account anyway and will only refund in 5 days. I called in immediately and the lady spoke with the manager and said that they are sorry for the inconvenience but they will deliver. Almost 2 hours later and they never delivered I called again the lady said she will check on my order then drops my call and I could not get ahold of them for the rest of the night. Seeing as they close at 7pm we drove there at 6:50pm only to find all the delivery guys standing outside and they would not even come to the door to speak to my fiance They point blank ignored him. Needless to say we never received our order. We had to go to another shop and buy a quick meal there which obviously costed more money cause we had no supper. Absolutely disgusting service steers was 1 of our favorite burger take outs but after this we will not...
