RocoMamas Jean Crossing — Restaurant in Gauteng

Out of all the RocoMamas I have been to, this is by far the best!

Better food, no, great food compared to other RocoMamas or other restaurants. The burgers are huge and juicy. You can construct you own burger in the menu.

Phenomenal service. They are so friendly and kind. Lyttleton now and then gets load-shedding , and me and my family just happened to decide to go to RocoMamas at the time of loadshedding. My dad was talking to manager and waiters making jokes and socialising. The power then came on, so we ordered coffee (since there's power for that) and ordered food. The food took awhile (which we didn't mind, we weren't in a rush and we are chilled people). The manager and waiter apologized for the wait at a point. And then offered each one of us a beverage on the house for the wait.

The people their are nice, in the past I have asked questions on how their kitchen works and their brand clothing, and they were more than happy to answer.

Also the type of music that they play I really like. It's great to socialise with that music in the background.

With out a doubt 5/5 star.

The only downside (which I don't mind, hints the 5/5 , however I know some people don't like this). On the Weekends it gets extremely busy and it becomes very noisy which ruins the experience. We experienced very good service, the staff who originally helped us was very helpful and friendly, however, the problem I have with Rocomamas is the food itself. The food must be loaded with MSG's which made me and my family feel really sick, we struggled to sleep and I even experienced heart palpitations. I am still young , in good health with healthy living habits. There was no reason for me and my family to feel like this and the only thing we had in common for the day was our supper. I have experienced the same symptoms from eating wings at Spur and for that reason, I do not dine at spur at all. I will not visit Rocomamas and I will never recommend them for...

I enjoyed their starters, fries, and dessert. Burger wasn't nice at all. I'll give it 2/10. I'll give it another try, but the burger really disappointed me. The taste was just below average... Update: The restaurant reached out after my last review and offered to replace the burger. The replacement burger offered was great and compliments to the chef. Also, the service from the gentleman who assisted me was top class. It's only a pity I didn't get his name. I appreciate their efforts of making sure their patrons are satisfied with their food...
