Arrived at the restaurant on Friday early evening. Wanted to order the eisbein but were told that it had to be pre-ordered before arrival. We ordered the goulash soup for starters and the pork schnitzel for mains. About 20 minutes later our waiter told us that the wait would be awhile as everything was being prepared from scratch. Almost an hour later our mains arrived. We asked about our starters and they completely forgot that we had ordered it, even though the waiter wrote it down. All they could say was sorry. Our schnitzels were small and tasteless. For the price I would have expected a much bigger portion. Needless to say, we left hungry. We read such great things on the community groups so we decided to try it out. We will never go back! I will continue to support my tried and tested favourites from now on. P. S. The menu is very limited and you don't have much of a choice to satisfy...

Mother's day party of 5. After waiting about an hour, a waiter told us it would take another 45 minutes (mainly burgers, a sandwich, a piece of ham), one dish eventually arrived stone cold (freezing mash), one of the mothers didn't get lunch at all (that would be me...nada) with no offer from staff to rectify it quickly, maybe whip something up in it's place. Such a pity. Spoilt the day even though we tried not to let it. It wasn't overly busy. Restrooms were dirty, no toilet paper, overflowing waste baskets. Some of us drove quite a distance to get there. Our family day was very disappointing :) I was sad about that. Because I can't respond to the owner directly, I am responding here. Ordered a frankfurter hotdog and it arrived with cuts in it so all dried out and not crisp and juicy like a normal sausage. The funny thing is that I asked the waitress if it comes as is or whether it is cut at all and she confirmed that it comes uncut. When I returned it without touching it I heard the cook ask how it changes the taste. The waitress came back to me and said that the cook had also said they have to cut it up otherwise it explodes. Hahaha haha tell all the hot dog vendors in the world that. They tried to make me pay for it but I obviously refused. And before all this happened I never received my second beer. A terrible experience with no follow up from the owner when we chatted...
