The Vidae cafe has dissappointed me on a number of occssions with little regard for customer service. Tried to get a mucho red cappuchino with oat milk option using a Discovery Vitality Voucher which is NOT A PROBLEM AT ANY OTHER Vidae Cafe. I was rudely told this is not the same like other Vidae cafes and you have to pay extra for that option. Its not enough that Discovery Vitality pays them for the drink. The staff here think Vitality vouchers mean its a free drink on their part. On a previous occasion I was told the same for the complimentary small Vidae chocolate when ordering a Cappuccino - i.e. we don't care, you have to pay. Coffee is good. Experience is poor. They have some tables you can sit at, but the staff that work there have taken over the customer area. Very noisy as they scream at each other throughout the store. They sit in the seating area playing music on their phones very loudly and have no consideration for the actual customers. Coffee is cheaper, better and staff are way friendlier at the Sasol Manaka waterfall. I understand its cold outside and those guys need a place to charge their phones, surely they have a little staff...
