Visited Yami for the first time, and I'm not sure why it took us so long to do so. Their boards stare us in the face on a daily basis!
Anyways, they weren't busy at all, and we were cutting it close to closing time, but we sat down, went through the mouthwatering menu, and finally decided.
We had jellybaby shooters because why not?! We also had ice tea and juice (the regulars) to drink.
To eat, we ordered the trio sliders (you can do 3 different ones for an extra charge, nothing too exorbitant), I had the chicken, beef and coleslaw and there's a new Chili chicken. All the sliders were SO delicious and very filling for a medium eater. I got extra chips and onion rings on the side. We also ordered the belly buster burger. This burger was huge and looked so yummy also!
All our food was SO good, and you can tell it was freshly prepared.
We'll definitely visit again as their menu has so many more things I'd like to try.
They also have events like quiz nights and an upcoming challenge for Easter. Very nice touches.
Don't give them a skip if you're in the area...

I visited the Yami Rib & Burger Elridge branch on Tuesday, 19th of April around 12h30. The service was great as expected, as I did visit the restaurant previously and had the same lovely experience. I ordered the butter chicken curry for lunch and a cappuccino. The order didn't take very long which was also a bonus.
I stayed at the restaurant up until 6pm more or less. When I got home I started getting stomach cramps and it got exceptionally worse within an hour or 2 when I arrived home. I then started getting symptoms of nausea, vomiting, cold sweat and diarrhea which is the common symptoms of food poisoning. I did not have anything else to eat or drink except those at the restaurant. It is quite strange as the food did not have any bad taste or smell therefor I believe it could be due to unhygienic reason's.
Please investigate this branch...
Read moreI enjoy the artistic vibe you receive entering this establishment. TV screens all over so you can follow sports while drinking beer or a mojito. I ordered a greek salad expecting a tiny bowl but received a great portion, having to take some home. For an entree we ordered calamari with a lemon butter dip which I truly enjoyed. The food presentation is outstanding! Amazing craft beer and they have happy hours from 18h00 onwards. The menu is diverse and caters for different types. The manager is extremely attentive to the customers, the remainder of the staff were aloof. Hope to see improvement there. The con's on this jamming place would have to be the fact the children's area is upstairs, although extremely amazing, it would require a parent to be with the child at all times for safety reasons. Also no wheelchair access and again the restrooms are...
