John Dory's George — Restaurant in George

Manager PJ is the perfect host ever!!! Service was excellent. My mother was cold and we wanted to be close to the open play area, he arranged for a huge mobile perspex screen, shielding the table from the cold breeze, but still allowing us to see the play area. We all had fish for mains and it was perfect!! A mistake was made with one of the starters, the waitress picked it up and sent the dish back, PJ served the correct starter himself and apologized. (Perfectly done - thank you). Only negative was dessert. The ice cream and bar one sauce was served in a huge cold drink glass, it was way too much, too "rough", not on the same standard as the rest of the meal. The peppermint crisp tart tasted like a lot of cream and only a sprinkle of peppermint crisp. The brownie (new on the menu) was on standard. Overall very good experience, will just not take...

Nice place Very hip and modern with a new look at how a restaurant is run like you order at Till and pay in advance tip everything before you know how service is going to be but luckily my 10%tip was for good service. All I would give advice for is tell people that there is onions on burger and wrap for many clients don't like onions or tomatoes a nice tip to remember. And then maybe the nr box you give out with an option to put money in. Because we normally tip huge but with the tip option before your dining experience made us choose the 10% tip option actually missing out on the staff tips that were cut with this option. Your Coffee was amazing. Food was as good, with huge burger sizes. And lady at till well trained with a friendly attitude. Other than that just the things I mentioned can maybe be options to look at. Very bad. Can send you the pictures of how empty the sushi rail is at 8pm on a Wednesday. The management was similarly bad as I experienced before at Kimberley John Dory's. Waitress was good and earned a well deserved tip regardless of a terrible kitchen. Heard her arguing with the sushi chef to get my order without sesame seeds and avo, since I'm allergic. Eventually got my order. My advice is to connect with John Dory's Montecasino or Springs, since their kind of management will have your restuarant happy and full.
