Definitely has that café vibe feel about it... Ordered an Americano - perfect and my mom order a strawberry (next level) milkshake... The food well... I ordered the pork belly salad - one of the most perfect things I have ever tasted in my life and I am not even a salad type of person. The sauce is something like brown sugar that gets melted and then they add chicken stock and it goes to toffee and then I don't know all the mechanics but it is something out of this world... A really sweet sauce that just worked with everything on my plate as well as with the steak sandwich that my mom ordered - definitely need the recipe... The owner was very friendly and is also the cook and you can just feel and taste the passion that goes into what they do... Very friendly staff... If you are in George this place is a must!!!!! I am just here for the week but are considering to go to Nina's...

Nina's is hardly noticable to York Street traffic, and being tucked away the restaurant doesn't catch your attention, so I was pleasantly surprised to discover a noteworthy experience waiting inside. The menu is wide and full of interesting dishes and desserts, such as Pork Belly Salad, Chicken Curry on Cous Cous, Milkshakes and various desserts. It's not a run of the mill menu at all, it's better. We enjoyed the chicken curry, Peri Peri chicken livers (a bit hot) and coffee with poured cream. Reasonable prices and value.
