Cappello umhlanga — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

So disappointed in the service. There were 3 waitresses we saw, 1 was drinking and flirting with male customers to the point where she just sat down and socialised with them, the 1 was actually working and helping us get ahold of out waitress who would leave us unattended for hours. Our waitress was horrible. She was drunk and speaking to us as if we are buddies and just annoying. She didn't bother wiping our table, checking on whether we would like anything else.. Even paying the bill took us 30min because she disappeared only to come back even more intoxicated shouting and asking if we are good from across the room. At that point the music was extremely low signalling that they closing and we could hear her singing "asivale siyophuza". Agh I was so...

I am absolutely disgusted by the service we received on the 1 December 2020. So on arrival we were told to seat anywhere we wanted so picked a spot at the sofa's next to the entrance we settle in there placed our order and chilled an hour later we were told to move to another table because apparently that place was reserved. Now my question was on arrival why did they not tell us that the place was reserved and we couldn't sit there before they even toom our order? Why did they say we can sit anywhere we want if there were places that were reserved. When I asked to speak to a manager I was denied. I will never dine at Cappellos umhlanga ever again the service was terrible their customers are not treated...

We attended Capellos Umhlanga on Wednesday and we were extremely disappointed. Firstly, they were out of stock of most of the items we wanted to order including the wines. After we had to change our orders numerous times, the food only arrived after we had to wait 1.5 hours. Some of the food was cold and the pizza was disappointing and a few of the things we ordered didn’t arrive and some of the orders were wrong. The service was very poor. We then ordered coffee and it also didn’t arrive so we ordered the bill and had to wait for that for 20 minutes and finally had to get up to leave in order for them to run after us with the bill.
