Following on the disaster on the night of Thursday where I had logged a complaint 402241 (about the Phoenix store, I received a call from Melissa from Debonairs Customer Service on Saturday afternoon She was told the store did not call. The inconvenience that we have been put through really didn’t seem to matter. You don’t ask a client how we should resolve this. Neither do you say to a long-standing client that you don’t want to lose them and then the highly erudite brilliant customer trained manager Leon.... from the store calls you - is rude, irate, - no way of speaking/ no idea what exactly transpired - continues to argue. Is this the way we must accept being spoken to? This store is not getting any more business from me or our businesses. You have lost a client who orders 2-3 times a month and that does not even include staff orders. We know what customer service all about and this is not it. Zethu will fail at fulfilling a basic request, which other staff in the very same store managed to do successfully a hundred times before. Abu Bakr the store manager claims that he isn't situated at the store but at the call centre and he can only liaise with the store. Even though Andile had already advised me that he had stepped out of the store for a few minutes when I initially called to complain!!! More than an hour and a half later from the time the order was placed, and they are still running around debating whether my order was placed online or telephonically, unable to resolve the issue effectively resulting in me requesting a refund. Debonairs Phoenix Plaza: where hungry families go unfed because they cannot get their ducks in a row, let alone their stories. Read moreExtremely poor customer service from Debonairs Phoenix. Placed an order online at 18:52. And about 19:30 tracking online shows that my order is delivered. Called the stores 3 times and was promised that I will receive a call back after the driver was contacted. This call didn't happen. Called a 4th time requesting to speak to the manager only for the phone to placed aside while the staff are busy laughing to themselves. Calls 5 and 6 were cut instantly. Whenever the driver did finally arrive it was 20:40, 1st he said the store was busy then he said that no driver wanted to do this delivery. I then refused to take the order and sent him back. Luckily I didn't pay by card and choose the cash on delivery order. It's unfortunate that Google reviews makes us choose atleast 1 star, because this kind of service...
