Steers — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

As walked into the Steers/Fishaways store in Pheonix on a sunny day, I'm welcomed by the very appealing music that just calmed my nerves, sure felt relaxed from that point onwards. The Steers side of the store has comfortable couches, it's like a lounge set up. The waitresses Mary are dressed appropriately and show so much dedication in their work, you can just tell by the way they speak to you while you make your order. The music is just always there, I be doing sing alongs while I wait for my meals, that she shows up with a handful of plate and a wide smile on her face before you know it. After having played my part of getting the plates empty, she comes by to take what's no lo ger needed and politely asked if I needed anything else, (I wasn't the only customer in the store but I'd tell that she made sure everyone was happy)...

Steers is known to have the best chips around. Placed an order for the XXL chips and got less than half from this store. Worst, the chips were refried, hard and brown. The food service industry is taking a knock and this joint isn't busy at all so there's no excuses. The managers Adam and Vusi tried to explain that they used measured scoops for the varying amounts of chips ordered. Whilst that may be true, it doesn't explain how other nearby franchises always serve a full box. They also tried to explain away the quality of the chips but it was odd. The number doesn't work and we called Fishaways to get a response from Steers. I will never support this store again and don't recommend that anyone waste their hard-earned cash here. Very poor service from the staff at steers phoenix metroplaza, was there today to purchase a meal. When I told the cashier Thobile that I intended using a voucher ( the voucher that we get on the absa banking app) before even entering my voucher number she said that the vouchers don't work there . What nonsense is that ? I always use these vouchers at nandos with no hassles at all. This is not the first time this has happened , I thought maybe the last time there was just a technical issue and decided to redeem the steers voucher again however I see this is the norm with this branch. If you'll have a problem with taking these vouchers then maybe steers should be taken off from from the absa...
