Galaxy Grill — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

Rather go somewhere else.

Decided to have lunch there today, initially we wanted hamburgers , was told be the waiter all there beef patties were sold out (this was 2pm the afternoon) and he highly recommended the Einstein , only to get back to us 10 minutes later to informed us "They just noticed it's sold out too"

So we decided to take the steak instead, I had the rump ... I have my rump Medium Rare , I have no idea how anyone can cook a steak like they did, the bottom was overcooked , the top was overcooked and in the middle a thin little piece that was mid-rare , but here's the problem the overcooked parts was so overcooked the steak tasted like sawdust, with a sandy texture , no flavour, not even the cheese sauce could mask it, oh and did I mention the waiter rated the steak 6/10 and recommended the fillet instead , I should have taken his word for it, but I thought it was gimmick to make me spend more.

I am pretty sure there are laws in place to prevent chefs from doing that sort of thing to good...

Terrible....

I used tooo love eating at galaxy grill as their food used to be awesome and the customer service is great but for some reason the food is not the same any more...:-(

I visited the gateway branch two weeks back and was really dissapointed because some of the food was really tasteless

Today 06/07/2016 i visited the pavillion branch and the food was actually worst... my steak was tasting aweful as if it was off i told the waiteress abt the issue and she kindly said that she will get another one made for me sooo buy the time the steak was being prepared i already lost my appetite and decided to take the food home upon eating my food at home the steak tasted the same and left a very bad taste in my mouth.... absolutely disgusted..... one things for sure i will never be...

Service... What service...? Went to play Bingo at Galexy Pavillon.. Waited an hour and eventually had to go find a waiter to get a drinks order.

After Bingo we decided to go eat dinner Firstly at 21h15 10 tables have 'reserved' signs on them. We sat down at a table and waited 20 min for a waiter. There was only 3 other busy tables.

We eventually decided to leave. I asked for the manager and Siya you have a lot to learn about customer service. He essentially said nothing.

So 4 of us wanting to have dinner and drinks went across to Café Gitano spent R800 and enjoyed great food an excellent service.

Perhaps Siya should go there to learn about Customer service.

It is no wonder every time I go past Galexy...
