My lady and I are regulars at this McDonald's, actually driving 10 minutes past a McDonald's closer to us to come here as we've always found the food and service to be the best. This last experience on 23 August between 14:00 and 16:00 changed our minds.
After ordering table service, a woman came to our table and just threw the tray with our food, didn't greet or even look at us. And just shouted at the other employees in front of us. The employees seemed to just be running around, screaming and laughing so loud the entire restaurant could hear them which led to people just leaving with their food instead of eating-in.
The order was wrong, there weren't even any straws for our drinks or serviettes. When I told another employee about the wrong order, she gave me a mean look, grabbed the food and walked off. I waited for another 20 minutes and went to ask about the food. Was completely ignored as 3 employees were talking and laughing by the counter. When someone finally paid attention to me asking about the food, he shouted behind him and I saw them scrambling in the kitchen with the same burger, now cold, adding the extras that were originally requested.
While sitting there, we saw multiple other people complain about their orders. There was even a man furiously requesting a refund for the poor service and extremely rude employees who insulted him in their language and didn't think he understood. His order was also wrong. When he left, the employees were clearly laughing and mocking him.
Very sad that this is now the case here, and McDonald's should really review the current employees there as I didn't recognize any of the new faces. I never thought I'd experience this kind of behaviour from employees at this McDonald's, and I don't think I'll be visiting here...
Read moreThis is my fourth experience and still not a good one, my first experience was a week after they had opened tried placing an order via Mr D but almost everything was out of stock, something as basic as chillie cheese fries and till today its still out of order on the Mr D app, so i ordered from pavilion instead. Second experience i decided to go the restaurant and use the Macdonalds App only to get told at the door that they not accepting the app which i understand but the staff was so unhelpful they couldn't even tell me when it would be in use. Third experience my team and i decided to have the grand chicken spicy with the chill cheese fries, however no chillie just the cheese but for the exact same price. I don't understand why if you don't have something why you can't maybe get some from your other branches or something. I mean you haven't had chill cheese fries for almost 3 weeks now. My fourth experience was Today when i decided to order something from mccafe a slice of carrot cake and a chocolate muffin to my disappointment for the third time the carrot was old, it was so hard and dry my spoon battled to go through it and not the normal standard that im used to with mccafe cakes, by far the worse carrot cake i have ever had i literally only ate a small piece and threw the balance away because it was disgusting, to everyone please stay away from the carrot cake for now till they have fresh stock... Read moreMcdonald's is always a favorite and i hardly ever have any issues until now. I went to order a burger meal and was informed that their coldrinks machine isn't working but i can choose from other drinks instead (powerade, frappe, juice, milkshakes) I chose a juice and i asked if it comes with this meal. The guy confirmed and confirmed the meal price for me. I proceeded to add a promo item and paid, when i was waiting for my order at the window i saw on my slip that he charged me for the juice. When i enquired the lady called the manager who only proceeded to tell me that there's a sign on the drive thru speaker (which isn't there) and she's sorry that their soda machines aren't working. I said why didn't they just charge me the meal price and leave the drink out it would have been better than paying extra for the juice she says their system works in such a way that they have to choose a drink with the meal and thats charged. Besides the explanation and apology there was no solution given, no offer for a refund no checking if there is a sign at the speaker. The system is at fault and customers must face the consequences. Not even a damn toy ot any little thing was offered to compensate which wasn't necessary but would have been a good gesture. I wanted to return the drink and be refunded just for the drink but it seems i would have then been charged for the burger and chips separately which would have still cost more.
