I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Mozambique Pavilion, and I must say, my experience exceeded all expectations! Initially, I was a bit skeptical after reading some mixed reviews, but after visiting, I can confidently say that this restaurant deserves every bit of praise it gets, particularly thanks to the outstanding service and exceptional food.
From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Khuselwa, our waitress, whose service truly made our experience unforgettable. She was nothing short of amazing, going above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. Khuselwa was not only friendly and approachable but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She made thoughtful recommendations, offering great insights into the various dishes and helping us select the best options-especially for my dad who wanted his meal “extra spicy”. The service was seamless throughout the meal, and it was clear that Khuselwa truly cares about her customers. She checked in regularly, ensuring that we were comfortable and that everything was to our liking. It was this kind of personalized and attentive service that really set the tone for the entire dining experience.
Now, let's talk about the food. It was absolutely impeccable. We started with the prawns, which were perfectly cooked—succulent, tender, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delight. The real highlight, however, was the chicken. Char-grilled to perfection, it had that perfect balance of crispy skin and tender, juicy meat that was seasoned just right. It was easily one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had. Every bite was a testament to the quality of the ingredients and the expertise in the kitchen.
Even days after our visit, my family and I are still talking about the incredible meal and the remarkable service we received at Mozambique Pavilion. Khuselwa truly elevated the entire experience, making us feel valued and well cared for. Her dedication to providing exceptional service, combined with the mouthwatering food, made for a truly unforgettable dining experience. If you're in the area, I highly recommend visiting this gem of a restaurant. You won’t be...
Read moreWe went to Mozambique pavilion on Sunday evening for a family dinner, when we arrived we were shown to our table and then we were left, eventually we had to call over a waitress. Drinks arrived and they were delicious but unfortunately that's where it ended. We each ordered our meals, my mom's and mine arrived and then we waited for about 10 mins, the waitress comes over and says my husband's meal should be out in about 2 minutes, as they burnt his meal he was having ribs. Eventually about another 10 minutes later his meal arrives and it's cold and under cooked. I have tried to contact management but been told they will call back, which they haven't. I've left a message on their Facebook page and also nothing. Such a pity this branch is ruining a good restaurant brand. This is not the first time we have had a issue at this restaurant 😞 While we were there a table of 8 was seated and then forgotten, they got up and left
Edited I am pleased to provide a follow-up to my initial review of Mozambik Pavilion, where management graciously extended an invitation for us to revisit and improve upon our prior experience. It was, indeed, an extraordinary evening, characterized by exceptional service from our waiter, who demonstrated remarkable attentiveness and even recalled our visit from the previous year. The cuisine was exquisite, and the atmosphere was outstanding. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and we will undoubtedly be...
Read moreIt was my birthday and I was craving Mozambik. The restaurant was quiet. We got there. Asked for a table. Then the hostess told us to sit anywhere. We sat in the booth. We noticed the table had some sauce and salt on it so I very politely asked the waitress to please wipe the table and change the paper because it was messed. She literally rolled her eyes at me and asked another waiter to come clean the table. And I was very apologetic for the inconvenience. We proceeded to order starters and mains. The mains and starters arrived over an hour later. The chicken was even a Lil dry. Did not slap. The Mozambik in pearls is just chefs kiss. The staff are so friendly and the food is exceptional. But Mozambik Pavillion was so disappointing. My parents asked them so many times to sing for me (although it's very embarrassing and I'm not the biggest fan) they love it. And it's fun for them. They didn't even sing or do anything. They even told the manager. He didn't do anything. So needless to say that was my first and last time we'll be going to Mozambik at Pav. I do not recommend at all. I hate complaining but shew, this place is good for nothing. Spent quite a bit of money for a terribly underwhelming experience.
Rather go to Tigers Milk tbh. We went straight there after to chill and have some droughts, because Mozambik doesn't even have those there. The staff at Tigers Milk were much more friendly...
