Wimpy — Restaurant in KwaZulu-Natal

This was the most horrifying experience at a wimpy store ever. We ordered the chicken special and a wrap. The chicken arrived with onion rings that must have been fried a long timeago and were cold. I complained about the onion rings and about the portion size, and then we started on the chicken. This was literally the worst chicken I've tasted in any wimpy store. The chicken had a couchy taste and was super tough. The manager arrived and tried to make me understand that that's how the chicken is done. Totally unacceptable. We were then asked if they could bring us a different meal which we agreed on. Wimpy cheese burger and chips arrived. The bun felt so crumbly.let it was taken out the fridge hardly held the burger together. The burger as whole was so below standard and didnt have the original wimpy taste it was just a mess. The manager chose to come and ask us if everything was ok only after we had finished the meal. The tomato sauce at the store seemed to have been refilled into wimpy bottles but was definitnot the wimpy brand. I would reconsider before choosing this wimpy store...

I just had the worst experience at wimpy chatsworth. The owner had the cheek to raise his voice and insinuate that we were the only customers that had an issue with the service. Excuse me but we know about good food!!! And proper service. Nobody wants to drink hot chocolate made with NO milk. Neither do they want a burger that looks like it’s made for 5 year old. Neither do they deserve that!

So wimpy tell me, does your franchisees learn about customer service? I can understand if the burger is naturally small, but to insinuate we only want thing for free is highly unethical Because other customer do not have the notion to complain, don't ill-treat customers to who do.

I visited this branch with my boyfriend who happens to be a qualified chef. We know about goo food and expect nothing less. Even if you are not able to change the size of a burger, at least treat people with the dignity that all humans deserve. Would never recommend anyone...

This was the 2nd time I've had such a terrible experience at wimpy at the Chatsworth centre..I had a crispy stack burger several times at cornubia, town and ballito and it was extremely delicious..so I ordered the crispy stack at the Chatsworth centre today which was terribly dry .hardly any sauce and onions which were not even freshly fried!!!.it tasted horrible...my dad and fiancé had the breakfast which was extremely bland..the eggs were not even appetizing to them.. unfortunately we ordered a takeaway burger aswell for a family member before even tasting our meals..on top of the terrible food...the ladies from the kitchen yelled out orders so loudly that it was difficult to even have a decent conversation. Won't ever go back here..we don't mind paying for good food..but it's seriously frustrating paying for food that was absolutely disappointing to...
