Niuniu Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Madibeng Local Municipality

Unfortunately I was let down by this Resturant, branded as "the best chinese food, for the cheapest price." Truthfully, the price was quite enticing; however the plesentaries stopped there.

The waiter was not at all interested in our table, it seemed as if they had no interest in being at work in the first place, I was met with a dirty glass which spoiled the atmosphere immediately. The lack of interest, the slow feedback and waiting for, what can only be described as edible food was indeed a let down!

The food seemed to lack passion that is synonymous with Asian cuisine. The hygiene of the place is let down as well, the toilets look as if animals are supposed to use it and not people.

The shock at not being tipped shows that the owners are oblivious to the lackluster service they provide.

I had hope for this Resturant as I enjoy Asian cuisine; however for less than adequate cuisine (dry and a little bit flavour less, almost like it's all frozen food) a boring drinks menu and staff that don't lift the atmosphere up, I shall not recommended nor return.

I hope the owners make some changes and ignite some passion into the Resturant,perhaps a facelift incorporating more chinese type atmosphere and improve the atmosphere, it will most definitely improve business.

We have been regular customers at this restaurant, frequently enjoying the all-you-can-eat sushi buffet. However, our latest visit was incredibly disappointing. We were a table of two and the service was painfully slow. We waited 2 hours for just 2 portions of sushi, while we watched other tables who arrived after us receive all their food (also the sushi buffet), pay, and leave before we even got our first round.

Although it was slightly busy, it felt like we were being completely neglected. After waiting another 2 hours for our second portions, I found plastic in my food. When we asked to speak to the manager, he responded aggressively, stating, “Big table, all ordered sushi” He offered no apology for the terrible service or the plastic in my food. We left without eating our second round, paid the bill, and felt extremely unsatisfied.

This experience was unacceptable, the waitress was apologetic regarding the experience but the ‘manager’ really ruined...

I am VERY disappointed and will NEVER step foot in that place again. I wouldn’t recommend it to ANYONE — not even as a last resort. The whole experience was downright unpleasant. The new so-called “pub” that opened there had speakers blasting outside so loudly that we had to practically scream at each other… while sitting INSIDE. Completely ridiculous. And then — the absolute cherry on top — the waiter who served us had the AUDACITY to make an issue about the tip. The service wasn’t even worth 10%, yet when I gave her a tip, she looked at me and said she’s NOT going to enter that amount on the card machine, because apparently, I MUST give her a 10% tip.
