Ground Zero Cafe - Chamberlains — Restaurant in Roodepoort

Ground Zero used to be amazing when they opened. Over time however, it seems like food and coffee quality has deteriorated. Needs some serious attention to detail to bring them back.

Edit: Thank you for the response Ground Zero. Unfortunately, your barista and waitrons are not properly trained. To provide further information - the coffee was pulled slightly too long, the milk was heated beyond optimal temp and as you can see in the picture I've shared, served in a tall mug. As a trained barista and ex-restauranteur I truly hope you manage to sort this out soon, as I come to Chamberlains because of the once good coffee.

Don’t let a hardware store fool you. I’ve had many meals here! As I sit here this morning watching the kitchen being cleaned again, it proves the pride the chef and restaurant has in its food. What a cosy, happy, friendly restaurant that always serves food that is presented and tastes like a chef that loves what he does. All while sitting in an excellent hardware store. Good option in this area

This café is situated near the entrance to the Chamberlains store and offers a lovely spot to grab something to eat or drink.

Their menu is typical café food with sandwiches, some salads etc on offer. The breakfast was tasty and the cuppachino well prepared - great value for money in this area.

It offers a quiet spot early in the mornings just after the store opened. Service is friendly...
