Service well below what it should be
Went with the family for dinner last night.
Upon arrival had a flurry of waiters trying to seat us. We were ushered from table to table and eventually after the 5th table we were told to sit at, I had, had enough and insisted on sitting at the first table we had been taken to.
We recieved menu's a short time after, the "FOH/Floor Manager" was trying to assist us at this stage. We were still making our way through the menu to decide what to order. My wife has Celiac disease and eating out is normally an issue so I need to run through menu items 100% to ensure she is actually able to order a meal. I asked the manager if the the bunless burger option was indeed gluten free. Are there breadcrumbs in the patty? Is there flour in the roquefort sauce. He returned to say it is 100% gluten free. We then went through menu for rest of the family. Settled on a Pizza for the kids and I had the Doppio Burger (bacon and cheese). When placing the order I again insisted that the waiter make sure she marked the meal as Gluten free and if any item with gluten is in the meal they would need to make a new one from Scratch. We had ordered drinks which took time to arrive. Half order was wrong. Drinks arrived at several intervals. Waiting for a straw or trying to get someone's attention was difficult.
(Keep in mind I'm still not sure who my actual waiter was assuming it was the person who brought me my bill)
Looking around the floor managers paid mot attention to the fact the guests were standing up to get their own drinks from the service bar, walking to the front station to ask for their bills. I saw 6 people stand up to arrange their own service. In full view on managers they seem oblivious to what was happening around them.
Our food finally arrived my wife's Gluten free meal was toppen deep fried and battered onion rings. It may seem harmless to normal people but to my wife this make this meal toxic. I saw this before the plate was even put down and told them to return it and make a new plate. 30 seconds later the plate was returned (all they did was remove the onion rings and send the plate back out) I told them to take it back and make a fresh plate. This was done and returned within about 15 mins. Thanks for that at least you made a new one.
No one asked us how our food was, no one came to check up on us, had to flag down another person to order a coke. After we were done had to ask someone to take away our plates and order a slice of Bar one baked cheese cake. 20 mins later it arrived and they brought my a plain baked cheese cake. Had it returned as I asked for the Bar One when it eventually came is was disappointing( this used to be my favorite the recipe seems to have changed and not for the better, tasted like it was topped with a canned chocolate sauce and no chocolate inside it was just a plain cheese cake with choc topping and was not great)
Took another 20 mins to get our bill. All in all I left feeling disappointed in our experience. It's not the...
Read moreOn the 18th of December my husband and I had lunch at 12:00 with a friend. The restaurant was extremely busy.
We were seated by a staff member inside in the corner on the bunker seats waited quite a bit for menus or a waiter.
Eventually a waiter came and gave us menus. Infront of us was breakfast menu and normal lunch menu, she did not really make any eye contact and rushed off before we could ask her if we can still order breakfast since she didnt inform us or said anything. Literally in a second she was back for drink order we didn't even had a look yet at menu.
We ordered 2 x cafe lattes and a coke light. The wait was quite long and the waiter was not visible that we could ask where our drink was. Then eventually our drinks appeared .
She literally jammed the glass on the table no eye contact and rushed off.
We yet again we're now wondering where the waiter was because we want to order food.
Then she appeared. We gave our order which was chicken burger and 2 ordinary burgers we told her that we wanted chips because she didn't ask anything.
Then the very long wait nobody coming to ask if we were ok, nothing. Our drinks are now almost done and still no food, no waiter to say mam food wil be ready in a bit nothing.
Eventually food came, yet again no eye contact nothing, plates down and do we want sauces. that's it.
The chicken burger was good but the ordinary burgers was very dry no sauce no nothing and patty is so spicy more something like a oversized mince ball.
No waiter while we eat to hear if we are OK. Yet again Cynthia waiter no where to be found. We are done eating and I ask her for a doggie bag. She brings it. Immediately she comes can she bring the bill not even asking if we want dessert. We asked for the menu again and she gave us the cake run down.
We went through menu and decided on a coke light and lime milkshake.
Again waiter no where to be found. Waited long for her. She took our order and we waited quite a bit.
Then she came put down our drink she looked very upset or something but guests mustn't experience it, because yet no eye contact.
then the long wait waiter no where and we wanted to pay.
I do not see this restaurant as a place I will return to, so expensive but yet not...
Read moreTo whom it may concern I decided to eat at your establishment after a horric experience the last time I was there a few weeks back.. The waitress was amazing this evening BUT what I assume who is the manager came up to ask my friend and I asked how our meal was to, literally turn around and go to our waitress, they had a little conversation and ALL eyes were on us, to what I can assume that they perhaps feared we couldn't pay yhe bill... The what I assume is the manager went to the computer to check on the system assumed yet again he and two other ladies stood and stared at us.. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE I then told my friend our dinner is now a take away because I felt dirty... I have eaten at your establishment MANY times and I order take away from you on a regular basis but that will come to and end now... The biggest mistake you can make is to JUDGE someone you do not know... if this was what you thought of me when I walked in then you should not have served me.. when I pulled out my money clip loaded with cash 2 ladies started clapping.... Review your staff because you have lost someone who was loyal to the establishment...
