Fiore is one of my favorite places to go to. from the moment I enter the front into the nursery,a sense of peace comes over me. I usually first walk through the most incredible Bonsai section and spend some time appreciating the beauty and gifted craftmanship of each bonsai, then I take a walk through the entire nursery, after which I go and get an outside table at the restaurant, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The menu and quality of the food along with the tasteful uniqueness of the various dishes, is absolutely supreme. I even have specific dishes on the menu that I will literally only go to Fiore to eat. From the manager to all the other staff, the service is great and there is always a positive energy. They are always friendly, understanding, genuine, respectful, kind and really pay attention to and try ensure that every need of the customer is met leaving smile on a customers face, because the intention of that is good and that type of openess and customer care is something to be valued. Another thing to love about Fiore is that it caters for anyone and everyone of all ages. It is truly a pleasant experience. You can also find emilybloom at Fiore, which is more than just a florist shop, it is a space in which you walk into and instantly feel good, having almist all your senses engaged in beauty, the owner who's name is Emily, is an incredibly gifted florist, I would go further and say that she is exceptionally skilled and has multiple areas in which she could easily fit the description of a specialist. In the shop, you can also purchase absolutely beautiful hand crafted pots of different styles and sizes, each being unique works of art very similar to the Bonsai trees. These are the works of the manager of Fiore, who is invested into the creation and maintenance of love and growth and is multitalented, incredibly humble, and exceptionally rare type of person to meet, unique in his approach, earnest and kind yet logical and practical, a prime example of a successful manager and also possibly a different version of, and to certain perspectives equally as talented, the artist Michael Angelo. The plants in the nursery are often well priced and of good quality, they are all treated with love. I believe that is what makes them last longer than other plants from other places. I would say that the foundation of Fiore , or prime Ingredient to many aspects attributing to its sustainability and growth as a whole, is love. The owners, whom I have not met, can be proud of this place. A thank you to the owners is in order, I believe, as without them, Fiore in Somerset West might not have even come to be. I am truly grateful to have the privilege to go to Fiore, again and again, every single time having a positive experience and never leaving dissapointed. That's why I go back, I truly value this place and everything and everyone that contributes to its ongoing existence for many people to enjoy and...
Read moreHave been a regular customer for many years but first time I've been truly disappointed. Came for breakfast with a friend...first thing is price...R90 for two fried eggs, two bacon pieces, two small pieces of toast and a few small tomatoes is a little heavy. Ordered my eggs soft and they came beyond well done. The plate was cold and the breakfast was also ice cold...seems like it had been sitting in the kitchen for a while. Not what I'm used to from this establishment. Such a shame as the venue and service is amazing as always. Really could also use a menu change or update also....getting bored of the same small breakfast menu. Had an amazing eggs Benedict in Gordon's bay for R90 versus your one for R115 the other day. Perhaps it's time for an update and a kitchen training session. Not what I've come to expect from such a long standing business and one...
Read moreSlowest service ever. We eventualy had to leave because a lunch hour is well, only so long. Got our BLT sandwich as a take away which defeat the whole idea of going out for something to eat. (If the food wasn't done we would have left without it.)
Your chef didnt think i saw him but he used his bare uncovered hands to chuck in a few chips in the box. Earlier, I (the customer) had to sit and fill in your covid forms What irony. Rediculous.
Sharing our experience with my sis in law she confirmed to having a similar experience at your place of pathetic service delivery where they eventualy got up and left.
My advise to you is sent in a mystery shopper to see what is going on there & supervise your staff or become another business statistic..... Customers are spolit for choice, we dont need...
