Really wanted to love this place that i went twice. I still think its a promising place as i watch the chef fold crossiants freshly which is wonderful (sadly too hot of a day and my time studying patisserie in France says the layers wont be separated well enough - but like i said, promising still!). Some of the food disappointed (look at the pictures i posted). The chicken bao was GOOD (nicely balanced) with soft bao, tangy Cucumber and crispy onions, just not memorable enough - perhaps the chicken can be marinated in gochujang or asian marinade. the chicken sandwich was horrible, inedible, dry, the bread rock hard and no balance - i didn't eat it (they lost me as a customer because this was unacceptable to serve, basically fallen apart in the bowl). Also had the shakshuka which was okay. The vegan/gluten-/dairy-free jars were just as amazing and a hit for our guests with dietry restrictions!
Thank you Mornez & Ruben, we are forever grateful to you and your role in our...
Read moreRamen Bowl. I dont know where the chef learned or how many times you have tasted in Japan or any Asian countries, anyway, I left almost the half of it. Also, Kimchi, which is a basic, basic and basic side dish for Korean, is not the proper one. I beileve that you can modify or change its taste according to area and people, but you should respect the origin and spirit of the food. “Inspired” became an easy word because some people just put it on their menu without studying or not even trying to understand the culture inside dishes. Its just eatable food using Asian...
