I had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic restaurant that specializes in serving a loaded smoked pulled pork burger. From the moment I took my first bite, I knew I was in for a treat.
The star of the show, the loaded smoked pulled pork, was a game-changer. The tender and juicy pulled pork was infused with a delightful smoky flavor that added a unique twist to the classic burger. The combination of the succulent pork, perfectly seasoned and slow-smoked, with the soft and toasted bun was a match made in burger heaven.
The toppings and condiments on the burger were carefully selected to enhance the overall flavor profile. From the tangy barbecue sauce to the crisp lettuce and pickles, each ingredient added a layer of texture and taste that complemented the smoked pulled pork perfectly. The attention to detail in the burger's construction was evident, as every bite was a harmonious blend of flavors.
The menu at this restaurant offered a variety of sides to accompany the loaded smoked pulled pork burger. The hand-cut fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection, while the coleslaw provided a refreshing and creamy contrast to the smoky richness of the burger.
The service at this restaurant was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to accommodate any special requests and provided prompt service throughout my dining experience.
The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and relaxed, creating a comfortable atmosphere for enjoying a delicious meal. The rustic decor and cozy seating added to the overall charm of the dining experience.
In conclusion, if you're a fan of burgers and crave a unique twist, the loaded smoked pulled pork burger at this restaurant is a must-try. The combination of flavorful pulled pork, carefully selected toppings, and excellent service make it a standout choice. I left the restaurant with a satisfied appetite and a newfound appreciation for the art of...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to try the Brisket, unfortunately, I was left feeling quite underwhelmed. I went in with high expectations, but sadly, they were not met.
To start off, the brisket, which is usually the star of the show at any BBQ restaurant, was tough and lacked any distinct "smoked" flavor. It left me wondering if it had actually been smoked at all. The pork fared no better, as it was dry and lacked the rich, savory taste that I've come to expect from good BBQ. The only hint of BBQ flavor came from the side sauce, which was disappointingly generic.
What's more, the only noticeable smoky aroma in the air seemed to be coming from a lady smoking cigarettes right by the door. I couldn't help but question the legality of this, as I believe that smoking is not permitted within a certain distance of a public space's entrance. I could be mistaken, but it certainly didn't add to the ambiance of the restaurant.
On a more positive note, the service was good and the staff was friendly and attentive. However, when it comes to a dining experience, good service can only compensate for so much. The lackluster food and questionable atmosphere left much to be desired.
In conclusion, the Smokey Brisket will have to make some drastic improvements if it wants to compete with the other restaurants in the surrounding area. The food needs to be more flavourful and the ambiance should be inviting and free from any unpleasant cigarette smoke odors. As it stands, I'm sad to say that I won't be rushing back to the Smokey Brisket...
Read moreI ordered the smoked brisket double portion. I have to say the brisket and barbeque sauce are amazing, the service is also great and the restaurant is family run. The food is also very filling and goes a lot further than it looks.
On the other side of the coin, I agree with the other reviewers that there is a lot of potential that has yet to be realised. If you order their grills, I'm reasonably certain you will have a good experience, however, with the wrap that I had, after a few bites it becomes a bit one dimensional and the BBQ and meaty flavour become overpowering and the texture becomes boring. I would recommend creating more depth and layers to the flavours, maybe some coleslaw or avo to cut through the meaty flavour. I would also recommend that the wrap is toasted to provide a crisp to the soft meat. It just needs something more. The issue is that the meat and BBQ sauce is so great but because of the lack of supporting flavour profiles, it lets you down.
My recommendation for the owners is focus on your grills and work on some supporting flavours and dishes, preferably something that contrasts the beautiful flavour and texture of your meat. Your wraps especially would benefit from an avo option and a...
