vida e caffè Waterstone Village — Restaurant in Somerset West

I went to the Vida e Caffè yesterday. On arrival at the shop the staff was unfriendly and occupied with their own things on their phone. There were 4 visible staff with only one helping customers. The shop was dirty with dirty trays, dishes and cups lining the one bench next to the window. I ordered a croissant with ham and cheese. After 15min,the croissant was missing, and the staff did not even know why i was waiting or what I was waiting for. The item I ordered came from the display so there was no need to make anything. I only wanted it heated. I had another appointment so left without my food. I paid R80 for NOTHING! Absolutely shocking experience and horrible service. Never has this Vida e Caffè ever got my coffee order correct and now I don't even get...

This Vida e Cafe has a lovely setting. There is plenty of seating, both inside and outside, cozy couches, high tables, small dining tables. You can get hot takeaways too, something to snack on like a warm toastie and an awesome coffee made by vibrant baristas. I love the flat white with a cbd shot. Their muffins, brownies, croissants and iced coffee are delicious too. It is a relaxed atmosphere and yet social, vibrant and comfortable. You can even order from Vida from Mr Delivery and It's worth it to get their app too! Last but not least, I just love the mini Lindt chocolate that comes with your coffee , that just goes an extra mile, ensuring a smile...

Food: Always love the cake slice, would die for it. My waistline is steadibly increasing but I'm not mad. Hot chocolate is great! However a lot of clump at the very bottom. I don't mind this but I know some people do. Please don't change it though, it's delicious! Only thing I would change is the chocolate frío, tastes like water with some chocolate pieces floating around. If you like dark chocolate I guess it could be nice, just not to my taste.
