Small Little gimbap place, quick lunch while visiting the UN cemetery here in Busan. Super friendly owners and a pretty tasty lunch… My wife really liked lunch. They catered to wifey‘s vegetarian desire. All in all good quick lunch on the east side of the cemetery… For 6000 won!!

지인이 추천해서 김치국밥 먹으러 갔는데 딱히 특색은 없습니다 🤔 메뉴엔 라면이 없는데 와서 먹고 있는 사람들도, 들어와서 주문하는 사람들도 라면을 다 시키더라고요. 밥은 자기가 먹은 그릇 들고 밥솥 가서 알아서 퍼오던데 추가 밥은 따로 돈 더 안 받나봅니다. 나중에 라면 먹어보고 재평가해보겠습니다. 주차 공간 따로 없고, 식사시간대에는 붐빕니다. 안에 자리가 넉넉치 않아서 조금 기다려야 할 수도 있어요. 국밥 5천원, 칼국수가 6천원이었나? 그랬고 1인당 6천원 잡고 오시면 될 것 같네요. 가성비는 훌륭해서 그런지 주변에 일하는 걸로 보이는 분들이 많이들 와서 식사하고 계셨어요~ 딱히 먼 곳에서 찾아 와서 먹을만한 곳인지는 잘 모르겠네요.

김밥(Gimbap)

Gimbap (김밥) is a Korean dish made from cooked rice and other ingredients that are rolled in gim—dried sheets of laver seaweed—and served in bite-sized slices. The dish is often part of a packed meal, or dosirak, to be eaten at picnics and outdoor events, and can serve as a light lunch along with danmuji (yellow pickled radish) and kimchi. It is a popular take-out food in Korea and abroad, and is known as a convenient food because of its portability. It is usually well wrapped (traditionally with aluminium-foil, but now sometimes in paper) and does not have any liquid ingredients.

김치국밥(Kimchi-Gukbap)

Kimchi-Gukbap (김치국밥), hot kimchi soup with rice, is made by putting cooked rice into a hot soup or boiling cooked rice in a soup.

콩국수(Kong-Guksu)

Kong-guksu (콩국수) or noodles in cold soybean soup is a seasonal Korean noodle dish served in a cold soy milk broth. It comprises noodles made with wheat flour and soup made from ground soybeans. It is unknown when Korean people started eating kongguksu; however, in accordance with the mention of the dish along with kkaeguksu (깨국수, sesame noodle soup) in Siui jeonseo, a Joseon cookbook published around the late 19th century, it is presumed to have originated at least as early as the 19th century.[4] Bean soup is a good food to protect body in summer with lots of sweat, because it can store soy protein and fat as it is.[

수제비(Sujebi)

Sujebi (수제비, in S. Korea) or hand-pulled dough soup is a Korean traditional soup consisting of dough flakes roughly torn by hand, with various vegetables. The flavor and recipe resemble kalguksu, except that the latter is made with noodles rather than wheat flakes. It is commonly considered a dish to consume on rainy days, along with bindaetteok.The broth for sujebi is usually made with dried anchovies, shellfish, and kelp. In order to obtain a rich, umami flavor, the ingredients should be simmered for many hours. Added to this broth are soft noodles and various vegetables or kimchi, most often zucchini and potatoes.
