I am writing this review on behalf of my friend, who has had consistently negative experiences at Bombay Brau. Unfortunately, I feel compelled to share these incidents to bring awareness and hopefully prompt the restaurant to take necessary action.
On three separate occasions, my friend visited Bombay Brau and each time he was treated rudely by the same staff member. The lady in charge of service displayed a consistently condescending and disrespectful attitude towards him, seemingly based on his casual attire and ethnicity.
From the very first visit, my friend noticed her disdainful demeanor. She made inappropriate comments and spoke to him in a manner that was both demeaning and unprofessional. Despite giving the restaurant another chance, he was met with the same unacceptable behaviour on subsequent visits.
Discrimination based on appearance and ethnicity has no place in any setting, especially not in a customer-facing role. It’s deeply troubling that this behavior has been allowed to persist. I strongly urge Bombay Brau to address this issue immediately and ensure that all customers are treated with the respect and courtesy they deserve, regardless of their attire or background.
It is essential for Bombay Brau to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all patrons. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot in good conscience recommend this...
Read moreI came here twice because the food was relatively good considering there's not many Indian food options in Busan but the service is so bad I can't recommend coming to this place. First time they had a waitress girl who was pretty indifferent but at least she was there to take orders. Second time there was no waitress, just two Indian chefs who completely ignored customers. Just getting a menu was a pain then taking an order too. These ppl simply don't even care, a group of 4 Koreans sat down and they didn't even bother going there to take their order after 15 min. This place is terrible and deserves to go out of business, the two Indian guys don't care at all and have zero customer service skills (no hello, thank you, smile, anything). Also note they only have 6 tables so it gets full easily and the location on Google maps is wrong, it's on the same street but a little further east. It doesn't seem they even want their restaurant to succeed so why bother giving them business. Don't bother with...
Read moreWe decided to visit Bombay Restaurant because it was listed as open, and we were looking forward to trying their cuisine. Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing.
Upon arrival, the door was wide open, suggesting that the restaurant was ready to serve customers. However, we were promptly told that the staff was on break. This was particularly inconvenient as we had walked to the restaurant with our little one, expecting to be seated and served based on the posted hours.
It was frustrating to find the restaurant seemingly open but actually closed for a break without any clear signage or indication. We hope the management will address this issue to prevent future...
