McQueen's Grill&Bar — Restaurant in Busan

I had high hopes when I found this place online while visiting Busan. The venue is beautiful. We did not have a reservation, but they were able to sit us. Upon waking in, we were the only ones there - 2 guests.

We ordered our cocktails, margarita and cosmopolitan, simple right? Well, it took 20 minutes to get our drinks and we were the only people there! We ordered the Chef’s Special for Two, which had 4 courses…the first 2 courses (soup and salad) arrived BEFORE our cocktails.

As we barely start wrapping up our 1st course, the 3rd arrives. The food was excellent, but the timing was terrible! Not sure if they were trying to get rid of us, but that’s how it felt. We could not property enjoy our food cause we didn’t want anything to get cold, so we ate too fast.

Since drinks took a really long time, we ordered our second cocktail as soon as the 1st course arrived. Upon finishing our last course, they brought the check….

We would’ve stayed for more drinks, but at that point we were so annoyed by the service so we got our cocktail and went to the outdoor area. It’s unfortunate that the restaurant has so much potential, but service was not good at all and what’s up with the bartender taking so long to make...

Had a simple fish and chips I couldn’t finish, but the crew kindly packed it to go with all the sauces included. Their attention to detail and genuine care made the experience...
