I'm from Rome, Italy and I can only recommend this fenomenal restaurant. We were a party of 2 people so most of the entries were shared. I wanted a small dinner but as soon as I started tasting the food I could not stop eating. The "insalata di polipi" was fresh, tasty and the octopus was very soft and reach in flavour. The burrata was very good and the Spanish alici added great depth to the dish; the pomodorini that can only be found on the Vesuvio mountain brought the right acidity to the whole appetizer. Then I tried to challange the chef by ordering a speciality from my city: carbonara pasta! Well, the overall dish was well executed and I felt like at home. "linguine allo scoglio" was my next choice: the freshness of the ingridients and the very well cooked pasta " al dente" won me over. To match those devine dinner I got a superb Greco do tufo wine, nice bouquet and perfect temperature. Steak was next: served medium rare with a selection of maldon salt and truffle salt. Guess what? It was delicous too. Last but not least a nice home made tiramisu (I was impressed when I was discovered that even the savoiardo biscuit was handmade) and one of the best espresso I had and not only here in Korea! Overall an outstanding dinner with a more than reasonable price. Premium ingredients and superb, kind and professional staff....
Read moreWe had a lovely meal last night with superb service. My partner had oysters which were big and fresh while I had French Onion soup. My soup came in a very small bowl and was of thick consistency. It was delicious and a great starter. My partner had a fillet of fish in beurre blanc sauce with creamed potatoes while I had the osso bucco risotto (beef stew with bones and marrow) which were both very very good. The meat in my stew was very tender and my partner enjoyed the marrow. The rice was the special risotto rise from Italy, really well cooked. We had a bottle of Italian Gewurztraminer which was pleasant, not too dry or too sweet. The wine was about W70,000 so our price indication was for just the food. Leonardo, the owner, helped us choose (we don't speak Korean) and was very pleasant. We do have the Papago translation app on iphone which is excellent but his insight added an extra layer. The atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant and the music was background level 1930's style like Mills Brothers. We got a tax to drop us off and it was easy to get one just outside the door to take us back to the hotel. We got the hotel to write the name and address of the restaurant in Korean to give the taxi driver which helped a lot as its not super easy to find even...
Read moreWe really had a beautiful experience here. I would consider this a proper Italian Korean fusion where we went with the signature tasting course that uses seafood caught off the coast of Busan and local ingredients to bring the flavors of Busan's sea to your plate. The chef was at our table at every course to explain the ingredients in the dishes. Complimentary digestive aged Soju ended the night was a...
