Ryusenso Main Store — Restaurant in Busan

What a hidden gem! The vibe is dark and very cozy with soft jazz music playing. probably not the best place for a kid haha but the staff were very kind with welcoming our toddler with a high chair.

My family of 4 sat in a large booth which felt like our own little private dining experience.

Honestly, we were all pretty underwhelmed by the ramen (the gyoza can be skipped as well) but what made this means memorable were the ‘fry’s!’ Especially the fried shrimp (which accompanies the ramen) and the star, the fried oysters! They were unlike anything we found throughout our trip ! Lightly battered and crisp but thick and mouthwatering juicy! My dad couldn’t stop talking about it.

Awkward service. First of all half of the signature seafood ramen menu is seasonal - means you cannot order some things. But they don't warn you in the menu. Seafood seasonal in Busan? Waiters do not speak English but I cannot blame them for that. Though it took me almost 5 minutes just to ask for a basic stuff like empty glass to pour some water. All the extras (salt, pepper) you can add stand at the common desk uneven - they are literally at the nose of other guests - which means if you want to grab something you'll have to ask someone and disturb their comfort and privacy. Very uncomfortable to be honest. But I did not expect much. The ramen and gyoza both were really good (!), but gyoza came unserved of soy sauce...

The ramen tastes really good and the pork on top is especially delicious one of the side dishes, chicken and dumplings is such a fantastic menu. The exterior of the restaurant is polished, and the interior is very clean. The dishes are served quickly, the staff are very kind and the overall service is quite good.
