SEA LIFE Busan Aquarium is an incredible destination for a family outing! Located in the vibrant Haeundae Beach area, this aquarium offers an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages. The facility is well-organized and features a wide variety of marine life, making it both educational and entertaining. One of the highlights of the aquarium is the impressive underwater tunnel. Walking through this tunnel, you are surrounded by sharks, rays, and countless colorful fish, giving you a unique perspective of the underwater world. The tunnel is a favorite among children and adults alike, providing endless photo opportunities. The aquarium is divided into several themed zones, each showcasing different marine habitats and species. From the playful otters and penguins to the majestic sea turtles and jellyfish, there is something to captivate everyone’s interest. The interactive touch pools are particularly popular with kids, allowing them to get up close and personal with starfish and other sea creatures. SEA LIFE Busan Aquarium also offers various daily shows and feeding sessions. The shark feeding show is a must-see, providing an exciting and educational experience about these fascinating predators. The knowledgeable staff are always on hand to answer questions and provide interesting facts about the marine life on display. In addition to the exhibits, the aquarium has a cozy café and a well-stocked gift shop. The café offers a relaxing spot to take a break and enjoy some refreshments while overlooking the beautiful Haeundae Beach. The gift shop is perfect for picking up souvenirs to remember your visit. Overall, SEA LIFE Busan Aquarium is a fantastic place for a family day out. Its combination of educational exhibits, interactive experiences, and stunning marine life makes it a top attraction in Busan. Highly recommended for anyone...
Read moreMermaid show (lady dressed in mermaid costume) is available, this is something unusual from other countries aquariums. The rest of the fishes, sharks, stingrays, turtles and species are pretty similar with others. If you take Busan City Tour bus, the ticket price will be discounted. The digital activities and lightings and decorations are well planned & designed, targeted at children so I think it's a good place to go with family. It is next to Haeundae Beach too, you can proceed to play with the sand thereafter. The beach is lovely. I have given 4 star because the road leading from the city tour bus stop to the Aquarium entrance has lots of pot holes, uneven and not paved properly, it is not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs. The elevators in the aquarium do not serve all floors at one go (i.e 1 to b1, B1 to b2, b2 to b3 only) and you need to back track to the beginning point to take the elevator if you would like to return to the original floor (I.e level 1 cannot go to b2 or b3, can only go to b1 and you need to take another elevator at the far end to take from b1 to b2 or walk all the way back to return to level 1). It may be for crowd control but it is inconvenient if you have strollers and wheelchair and wish to skip floors or go to specific floors. The aquarium is not linked to their retail shop too, you need to enter via another building entrance. Hope the experience can be improved for other patrons. Overall, it's a good place to visit...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if possible.... Never support this institution with your money. They need to do their homework on how big an aquarium should at least be for the fishes to live and and how to keep the fish entertained.
The fish is saw today lived mostly in horrible environments... (Really small aquariums, no personal that informs children how to interact with the fish and so on). The penguin were in a really small cage and they were to bored that they stick to the glass wall. The octopuses tried to swim and hit his head repeatedly on walls. I hurt me to see them try their best to escape the suffering. The Foto zones were the worst.
I saw children taking starfishes out of the water just to throw them back in without a care in the world. Parents happily taking pictures of their children mistreating these creatures and children repeatedly tapping loudly on aquarium glasses. I can't even begin on how mad I am right now.
I attached some pictures I took in the sea life for you to see how small these aquariums are and for how many fish lived inside together.
Please sea life Busan if you really care for marine life and not just your money - give thdmbigger aquarium, entertainment and provide personal to educate the children and parents.... I hope this comment gets noticed and they do something, because I would love to give my money to an institution which helps the sea life grow and educate people in...
