I visit here when I need to go Busan City Museum. The museum is located in less than one kilometer.

There are actually two restaurants with the name, 쌍둥이("Ssangdungi" based on Korean pronounce). I usually visit the place where there is a hidden parking lots at back side of the restaurant.

The soup I ordered served well. I think it is because of my love with the taste of the soup.

You may say whether service is not good or not. Please remind that Koreans are tired by 'emotion labour'. We are tied with a hierarchy structure based on twisted and distorted confucianism culture. This makes things hard to be nice to others in service sector 'always', while most Western people get used to and developing on it. You people 'respect' each other as equal person. Don't you?

Get back to the taste, it would be hard for foreigners to take a slip of the soup at first time. I will tell you some tips.

  1. 'Salted Shrimps' - seasoning the salt rate.
  2. 'Little Spicy Chive' - makes the soup nicer! not spicy enough.
  3. 'Rice' - wait until it gets cold, cooled-down rice would perfectly fit to the soup.

If this is hard for you, you may ask your accompanying Korean friend. For other option, you may show Google translated/Naver Papago translated script to nearby employees. You can be helped from them.

It is most widely known traditional food for Korean. We also implies the fork soup as 'Soul Food'. It serve so quickly, it has other name as well - 'Korean Fast Food'.

I hope you can enjoy your meal!

Recently, the price of each menu increased by at least 500 won. The numbers on menu should be changed. For example, 돼지국밥(Fork Soup with Rice) is now 7000 won. (Based on...

Their pork soup spot is regarded as one of the best in town. Located a few blocks from Daeyeon metro station, it's a pretty local place.

We went for lunch and got a nice, full bowl of pork soup with an array of all-you-can-eat kim chi and Korean pickles. The soup isn’t spicy at all, but there’s red pepper that you can add to taste and they give you garlic as well.

As expected at a reasonable, local spot, there’s not much English and service is nothing celebrate, but it’s good enough and they come to refill your dishes when you’re out. Nice lunch find for sure, or late night snack as it seems that they’re open...

I don't understand the hate others have on this restaurant. Others are complaining that the food smells pork... Duh, it's pork soup. It's a different story if it smells of pig but I never smell any of that when I went to this place. Probably I went to their head restaurant where doors are wide open which has good ventilation.

Staff is ok but not unfriendly as others...

Good stuff!! For the tourist... Just order from the 3.. Pork soup/pork intestines/boiled pork.. If you order soup, you can add the red sauce (spicy) and little prawns (salty) for taste. The chilli is more like a capsicum. Refreshing. I've seen other people add rice to the soup directly. Either way. It's good. You definitely need to add the spice and salt for good flavour.
