Gyeongjudong — Restaurant in Gyeongju-si

Atmosphere is very good. It has a romantic and relaxing air to it. Upon arrival, was greeted by a wait staff and she would show us to the table. They had requirements for table seating, reserving the double table for bigger group.

Food was served swiftly after ordering.

Food was fresh and nicely plated. Portion was small though. the accompanying side dishes were also small.

However, for the amount, it's reasonable. Opted for the set with abalone, however, it was just a quarter of abalone given with a topping of sea urchin. Granted that these are expensive ingredients, but still small.

Alcohol here is expensive. Beers go for 8000won for 500ml can.

While exploring Gyeongju for the first time, I stumbled upon this fantastic Japanese restaurant. Being a fan of Japanese cuisine, I couldn't resist trying their omakase menu with my friends. The presentation was absolutely stunning, like a work of art! And let me tell you, the taste matched the beauty. The raw fish was incredibly fresh, and every bite was a delight. Considering the quality, the prices were quite reasonable, especially coming from Europe where things can get pricey. If you're in the area, I highly recommend...

Great omasake set, beautiful presentation as well. Great choice for somebody who wants to try a little of everything. Good for solo dining as well.
