KyoChon 1991 — Restaurant in Incheon

I rarely write a negative review, but this establishment deserves insofar that management can sort out their business. Being my last meal in Korea I had planned to visit this restaurant for a week to have what I heard was good fried chicken. I arrived and saw a comfortable table setting with padded seats. One table for six and one table for 4, which was not cleaned (plates and cups etc). Other guests behind me were looking at the clean table, so I let them have it out of politness knowing I would end up with a clean table in due course. The young man, who had already looked at me, came out served the group and so I waited till he finished and called out politely but I he kept going. Ok no probs, he wants me to press a buzzer so I did. He came back immediately and first thing he said was I cannot sit here. I asked why and he said we are unable to clean the table and asked me to move (I wonder what happens when all the tables are dirty???). So I moved to an less comfortable seat choice and then requested a beer and the soy/garlic drumsticks. I was told I could only have the wings plus drumsticks choice as there were not enough drumsticks for me just to have drumsticks. Rediculous! Surely, customers at the end of the night could be told that they were out of drumsticks, not I as the current customer ordering off the menu at 6.30pm. So basically, I was told I could not sit where I wanted nor order what I wanted. I do not blame the young man serving me who was run of his feet, but I do blame the owners/management for not having enough staff present nor enough stock to service their so called signature menu choice. Such a disappointing experience. Not worthy...

渡韓20回以上で、初めてこんな屈辱をうけました。ここのチキンを食べるのをとても楽しみにしていました。　入店すると外国の方、女性2人だけがいて、テーブルで注文していました。　私は注文を受付けるのを座って待っていました。 この店は1人でやってるようで、 店主は厨房と店内を忙しそうに行き来しています。　店内は私を含め3人しかいません。　10分たっても注文をききにこないので、韓国語が上手く話せない為、店主が出入りしているレジへメニュー表を持って注文しようと待っていました。　しかし、店主は、そんな私を無視しています。 2、3分して店主が突然メニュー表を私が座っていたテーブルに突き返しました。 驚いていたら、現地の方らしい2人の男性が入って来ました。　レジのベルを鳴らし （ビール2つ）的な事を言って席につきました。　すると、すぐにビールを両手に抱え店主が出てきました。　私が入店して15分くらいの事です。 普段、穏やかな私ですが 韓国語で文句が言えたらと思ったのは 初めてです。　くやしいけど、この扱いに耐えきれずお店を出ていきました。 韓国が大好きです。...
