Tldr: DO NOT USE THE COUNTER SERVICE UNLESS YOU CAN READ KOREAN, AND MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR ORDER WITH THEM FOR AT LEAST 3 TIMES IF YOU HAVE NO CHOICE. I didn't even expect service at airport food courts just don't get the food order wrong, and at least be apologetic when you do get it wrong. My brother ordered black bean noodles, but the staff put in seafood noodles and he is allergic to seafood, so he couldn't eat it obviously. He only noticed because I could read Korean on the receipt so he went to ask for a swap/refund. I stayed in my seat and thought he'd manage as it's not a complicated thing to ask but he came back super pissed with no food or refund, left the food court and my brother literally never gets angry. I approached the counter to find out what happened. When I mentioned the issue in Korean, the staff who took the order seems new to the job, apologetic and willing to refund after I spoke to her but another staff(rude one) barged in and said no refund even though the food isn't even ready yet and blamed my brother for not checking before paying as the price is different, but the words on the monitor and on the receipt were in Korean!! There was indeed a 500won difference, but it was so chaotic at the counter, and the nice staff who took the order didn't understand English. I wonder what that rude woman would say if he ordered stews, which have the same price, looked similar and he doesn't notice until after eating it with an allergy?! The meal wasn't expensive so refund was my last concern especially if it comes out of the staffs pocket. If that rude staff explained it nicely and apologized for the confusion, I wouldn't spend time arguing with her. But the audacity to blame my brother and her attitude was totally unacceptable. At the end, the nice staff was really stressed and she kept saying it was her fault to the rude staff, who ignored her. My intention wasn't to stress her out so I said to the rude staff 'it's ok we won't ask for the refund, but it would be better if you took accountability and be nicer to customers!' That staff literally said 'wow you make me angry' in English because we asked for a totally reasonable refund or change in menu because of a mistake that wasn't made by us? BY THE WAY, not a single sorry was said in the whole process. After that, the staff was asked by the older staff/manager to tidy up the tables instead of taking orders and the rude staff was banging chairs around the restaurant (around our table) and stared at us multiple times like it was our fault? I also noticed after that, the counter staff started using a pointer to point at the pictures on the menu to confirm that the correct dish has been ordered.

*If you can't read Korean, ONLY...

A great place to grab a bite after a long flight.

Choose from six different food outlets.

Order from the kiosk or the designated order counter at the front. The kiosk navigation is easy. Choose one of the six outlets and then choose what you want from the menu. After you complete your order, your order pager will pop out of its slot. The pager will show the outlet you ordered from and your order number. You’ll receive a pager for each outlet you ordered from.

After getting your pager, go grab your seats. It was busy when I was there, but it’s not a place where people are hanging around. So seats are constantly opening. I was able to find a seat immediately. Wait for your pager to alert you.

Once your pager alerts you, go to the outlet window (A, B, C, D, E, F). Your tray will have the receipt with your order number on it. Drop your pager in the bin and take your food back to your seat.

After you finish with your food, take your foodware to the return window and head back to your gate—don’t miss your flight eating all the good food.

There’s a water fountain available to fill bottles. There’s also a cool water fountain with cups.

Very structured experience, unlike the food courts of the past.

This food court is a bit disappointing, considering the size of the area and the size of the terminal. I get it; in Korea, food shops/stalls are small, but this is in an international airport terminal that was built in 2017 and expanded since that time. This food court has 5-6 vendors plus a bar, and the seating area for all of them is maybe 1500sf (140m²). There is a paid lounge across the hall, and it is probably 3 times larger than this food court area. Our timing was such that finding a place to sit was hard. Ordering food is by self-service kiosk if paying by credit or in-person if paying with cash. The sign says find a seat before ordering. The self-service kiosk didn't have beers available to order, so I had to go to the in-person line. Once I negotiated the ordering process, the rest was easy. You get a beeper when you order and wait, then retrieve your order from the designated vendor. I had the tonkatsu tenderloin from Saboten the Original Shinjuku Tonkatsu, I was impressed. It was the best tonkatsu I can remember ever having. The miso soup was so-so. If I find this place out on the economy, I would definitely go again, but in this airport terminal, it...

Menunggu penerbangan ke Jakarta dgn Korean Airlines sore, sempat menonton pertunjukkan musik yg keren bgt, sambil menunggu boarding, btw disini sulit sekali mencari kopi, teh atau minuman lain, yg ada hanya Starbuck, sptnya area ini supporting by Starbuck jd sulit utk mencari alternatif toko minuman lain, ada drinking water kalaupun mau air mineral hrs cari di toko obat, mrk ada etalase minuman termasuk air mineral Disekeliling byk toko tas dan jam branded, gift dan souvenir Tapi buat sy yg cukup mengganggu saat kita msk toko mereka, lsng dipepet staffnya ditawarin ini itu, jd kurang nyaman dan bebas kita utk pilih2 dulu
