Raj Indian Restaurant Unseo Stn — Restaurant in Incheon

One of the best meals we had in Korea - and that’s counting the Korean food.

We stayed in the nearby Howard Johnson for 1 night before an early morning flight out of Incheon, and this was around the corner. A bit of a walk to get to - you have to go into the building, up an elevator, and through some office-like hallways to get there. But the atmosphere is cozy once you get in.

Service was very friendly. We got the meal set for 2 people - we ordered lamb rogan josh, aloo gobi, and garlic naan. Flavors were AMAZING, about as good as I’ve ever had in the US (and being from Houston we have pretty good Indian food). Lamb was fork tender, the cauliflower and potato perfectly spices. The portions are on the small end, so we got a third curry, a Kandari paneer, which was also delicious. Overall we paid just over 50k won, which for the amount of food we got, is an amazing deal. This is the worst Indian food I think I've ever had. The best thing about my meal was the rice.... If you dine in, expect to be seated in very weathered chairs that need replaced. I did take out. What I got was a mango lassi that was bright yellow...???? With what seemed like powder pieces floating in it and dust on the lid. My butter naan was one large crumpled up chewy piece of flavorless naan. And my main dish, was so full of oil you could see it separating in a pool at the top. I was really hungry but I only ate the naan, rice and half of my main dish. The taste of oil was stuck in my mouth afterwards. SOOO GROSS. Couldnt stomach the rest. Indian food is one of my favorite types of food and I eat quite a bit of it from MANY places. U can get MUCH better food than this elsewhere. Do not waste...

From the metro station, it’s about a 10 minute walk. It’s on the second floor in an open air complex, visible from across the road but you need to go up to get to it(they have signs to help you out).

Setting’s okay, feels warm and cozy for November. Service speed is medium(I was the only order when I sat down and it took about 20 minutes).

I had the lamb curry pasta. Quality and taste, same like airport branch. I like it, but I think a version with dry keema(minced meat curry) would take it up to the next level.
