Unfortunately, this was the first bad restaurant we went to in our time in Jeju. The Jeju flatfish DIY sushi was not cut well, with a knife that wasn’t sharp enough, and as such each piece was dry despite the fact that the fish itself was fresh. The DIY aspect of the sushi-making really made no sense; we got a small mound of sushi rice and a variety of random seasonings and there’s simply no easy way for customers to make make their own nigiri by hand without seaweed.
Also, their uni bibimbap and uni seaweed soup looked nothing like what was on their Kakao map pictures. The portions were paltry and the uni itself not very fresh.
