The Food was good, like the broth was rich and the seafood were fresh. Recommend ordering non-spicy, it still has a little kick to it. There was loads of mussels and clams, however the crab was a little mushy, but the octopus, scallop, prawns were all great. The octopus platter was really good too, dipping it into the sesame oil brings out the fresh seafood taste of it. All is good but the reason why I'd give it 3 stars. The service was really bad. I wouldn't say bad but just that there wasn't staff outside the shop, many customers did not know how to take the queue number. Apparently we had to scan the qr code on a tablet, but there wasn't even a tablet, many of the customers including us were lost beyond lost. So u actually had to take a queue number, then when the staff calls for the number, then u head to the counter to order the food, then u could find a seat to sit and wait for them to call your number again to retrieve the food. We were told not to find a seat before we ordered, but many others actually sat before even ordering. When we asked the staff, they were poor in English too, could not understand us, but I'd give a thumbs up for them for trying to use Google translate to converse with us. Oh and to get there, it's really tough unless you get there by car. By bus, you'd have to walk for around 20 mins, we didn't mind it, we were strolling through the locals houses, got to see some of their houses and crops they were growing. As long as you're reaching the sea, you'd know you're nearby already. We also went around 1pm, queue...
Read moreI thought it was ok. Our family just thought there wasn't much meat in the crabs. I liked the abalone, but the octopus was already sold out. I think if I had tried that, I would have liked it a bit more. The mussels were wonderful and fresh. The view is amazing. Parking is good. We were lucky that it wasn't busy. Kitchen could have been a little cleaner, but I guess part of the charm is the writing on the wall and the quaintness of it all. Health standards for Corona were good, but only if you eat outside. Probably much on safer. The ramen wasn't anything too special. It wasn't particularly spicy, but also just unremarkable. It's still a feat price, but with such care put towards the freshness of the seafood, a little more care put towards the noodles would improve the whole experience, or even just more noodles. The lunch box is good, but it's hard to mess up eggs, rice, and some fried ham. It's a solid place to eat, but not if you have to wait more than 30 minutes. We drove over a hour in hard rain and fog, and were more impressed with the cafes and scenery in the area. I'm excited to try the octopus if we do return. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I do appreciate their hard work and care....
Read moreNoraba in Jeju is an absolute gem! I ordered the squid ramen set and chose to sit on the terrace facing the sea — what an unforgettable experience. The view was nothing short of breathtaking. As I enjoyed the steaming bowl of ramen, I could hear the waves crashing and feel the ocean breeze. It truly elevated the entire meal.
The squid ramen was fantastic — the broth was rich and deeply savory, with just the right amount of spice. The squid was incredibly fresh, tender, and perfectly cooked. It felt like a dish made with care and local pride. The set also came with a few tasty side dishes that complemented the main bowl really well.
The terrace seating was cozy and well-designed, making it the perfect spot to slow down, take in the scenery, and enjoy good food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the warm atmosphere of the place.
If you’re in Jeju and love seafood, or simply want to enjoy a peaceful meal with one of the best ocean views on the island, Noraba is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m here. Highly...
