Nolman — Restaurant in Jeju

If you're in the area, Nolman Cafe is worth a stop for a bowl of some relatively inexpensive seafood in a tasty noodle broth at 6000won. The noodles themselves are more or less instant noodles, but that's ok since you get a variety of tasty seafood (mussels, crab, shrimp...). Not much of a line around 3pm; only a few orders ahead of me when I got there. Take a ticket from the dispenser on the table when you first walk up to the counter and immediately give it to the person behind the table. They will call your number when the order is ready (although in Korean only, so be sure to make it clear to them if you need help knowing when it's ready). Only one lady there knew very little broken English, but it was enough to get by, although I annoyed the staff in the process. Their exasperated looks and tones can detract from the initial experience, so try not to look like as much of a clueless tourist who can't speak Korean as I did and you'll enjoy it even more. ^_^; Don't forget to bring your tray back up when...

One of the best seafood ramen places and value for money! For ₩10,000, you get lots of mussels, prawns, and a crab. Soup can be just a little bit spicy but for a spice lover like me, I say its perfect where it would be considered mild to most.

Only one picture as I was very hungry prior and the smell just made me want to dive in and explore the depths of my bowl.

Seats are limited so be there early to avoid disappointment!

Update: Back here after just 2 years (June 2023). The prices have increased but the amount of food is still the most reasonable and fresh to what I've seen. Do visit early if you want a...

The ingredients are super fresh. The broth is tasty and there is a tinge of sweetness after. So good that my boyfriend and I ordered a third bowl to share.

Grab a number from the machine first. The staff will call your number then you will order from there.
