Female staff at the drinks counter was extremely rude, with a serious attitude problem.
Customers are asked to order drinks on the outside before entering. Thereafter, collect the drinks from the drinks counter inside. The ordering of dessert can only be done after entering the outlet.
However, both drinks and dessert counter are separate. The dessert counter is left unattended, and there is a dessert menu at the drinks counter (interior).
I asked the female staff if we could order the dessert at the drinks counter instead. She rolled her eyes, sighed, raised her voice, and told us off that desserts couldn't be ordered here.
At the same time, I saw that my drinks were about done, so I decided to wait at the drinks counter instead. The same female staff decided to shout, "NOT HERE, GO INSIDE!" I explained to her that we were going to wait for our drinks instead. She rolled her eyes again, handed us the drinks before shouting, "GIVE ME THE BUZZER AND GO INSIDE."
Woah, like chill sis? Bad day? No need to scream??
Well, maybe I would like to suggest not putting a dessert menu at the drinks counter? Maybe don't leave the dessert counter unattended? Maybe work on your customer service??
Came here for the view... but got humiliated...
Read moreGreat looking spot (at least from the outside), but very rude staff. Seeing from the other reviews, this wasn't an isolated incident.
Found this place from IG and went straight there after arriving at the airport. So drinks need to be purchased first at the locket before being allowed inside, bakery items and other food need to be purchased inside which was odd, but wasn't aware of the one purchase per customer rule when starting to order (we had 6 in our party... 2 seniors and 2 young kids). We proceeded to order 2 coffees thinking that we would purchase bakery items inside. Was asked how many were in our party, told them that the seniors and kids don't drink coffee but would purchase something else inside, staff taking our order proceeded to close the locket window on us. No explanation or anything.
Mind you this was at 9.30AM on a rainy day when there was no one inside and no one in line. You'd think that they'd take our money, lol. We've been to other places where there was a drink minimum policy, but staff usually handle things much better, especially at a tourist...
Read moreThe place is undeniably pretty — the seaside view and the design are very photogenic, no doubt about it.
But honestly, it’s massively overrated. The café latte was really underwhelming, and the women’s restroom was not clean at all. Even worse, there was an improvised trash bin (basically a bench piled with used tissues and napkins) right inside the café — not exactly what you expect in a place like this.
If you’re lucky enough to find a seat on the terrace, don’t expect peace: people constantly walk up to your table to take selfies, often posing endlessly without any regard for your space. Every 5 minutes, someone new shows up for their photo shoot.
So yes, it’s a nice-looking spot, but the actual experience doesn’t live up...
