나주곰탕 — Restaurant in Seoul

An amazing beef soup place. Naju style Gomtang - clear broth made from lean beef (without bone). Hearty, beefy, not oily. Very home made taste, including the pickles. I visit every time I come to Seoul. Affordable and humble but very tasty. There are other things on the menu but the soup is too good, so I always order it. Friendly service, and always a warm welcome from the owners. I hope they are still here for another 15+ years. 고기가 도톰하고 부드럽고 국물은 깔끔한 맛 반찬은 김치, 동치미 무 같은 것, 절인 양파로, 곰탕과 어울리는, 곰탕에 필요한 것만 딱 있다. 공간은 아늑하고 요리하는 곳이 투명창으로 보여 저렇게 열심을 다해 끓여주신 것을 내가 먹는구나 하고 경건해진다.

밥 한 공기에 곰탕 한 사발 배부르게 먹고 나오니 건강해진 기분. 그리고 아조씨의 따뜻한 친절함에 외로웠던 하루도 썩 괜찮아진다.
