미스랄라 — Restaurant in Seoul

The cutest little pastry shop—we stumbled into this location just walking towards the Han from the National Museum. They had delightful pastries (wife is a Cordon Blue trained pastry chef)—we had the cherry tart. This was the best coffee (one espresso and one hazelnut latte) with real caffeine (!) we had in Seoul so far (5 days here). Definitely stronger than any other place. Also, very cute...

I've had a fair amount of pastries in Korea but this is the best pastry cafe I've found so far. I find that pastries in Korea often look very pretty but do not possess the same flavours as the French or American pastries they attempt to mimic. Miss Lallas is different, here the pastries taste as good...

국중박 근처 디저트 맛집 미스랄라(Miss Lalla)다. 영어로 구글 지도에 검색하면 모로코의 어딘가가 나오니 한글로 검색하자. 이곳은 디저트에 자부심이 있는 사장님이 운영하는 맛집으로 방문 당시 디저트에 대한 다양한 소개와 설명을 들을 수 있었다. 사실 맛을 보다 보니 그 설명을 다 까먹긴 했지만, 디저트의 맛은 정말 맛있었다.

얼그레이 롤 케이크와 까눌레, 스콘을 사서 먹었는데 상당히 밸런스가 좋은 디저트 맛집이다. 얼그레이 롤 케이크는 크림에는 홍차 향이 가득하다. 생각보다 크림이 무거운데 달달하지 않고 부드럽다. 스콘은 다른 스콘들과 다르게 퍼석하지 않고 부드러웠으며 간간히 느껴지는 짠맛이 좋았다. 까눌레는 정말 완벽한 표면의 바삭함과 질김을 가진 중간 그리고 속은 다 익었지만 부드럽고 맛있는 까눌레였다.

국중박에 전시 시간이나 잠시 당보충이 필요하다면 정말 좋은 곳이다. 맛있는 디저트와 특이한 롤 케이크를 원한다면 방문해보기 좋은 곳이다.
