Anthracite Coffee Yeonhui — Restaurant in Seoul

Really beautiful space. The barista was really kind and helped me since I don’t speak Korean. He even explained the tasting notes of the two espresso options! He also explained that I could wait upstairs and they would bring it up to me (I clearly looked lost; my first time here!) I’ve been getting a lot of iced lattes because most of the espresso I’ve had in Korea has been over-roasted. The espresso here was so smooth! I wish I hadn’t gotten a latte this time so I could really appreciate it! Also got a madeleine. Perfect balance of sweet, butter, and tang of the lemon glaze.

When I visited here, I was feeling that it was expressing something which could inspired by only in this space. It might be not proper place to spend time with your friends to make conversations. I don't means that they have no expertise about their coffee. I just guess they would not have considered that efficiency of the business or providing a comfortable space for the customer. I do not want to suggest to come in here to you all. Because I do want my own space always be there when I going to...

I ordered all my drinks for my friends to the cashier, and then right when I said the last drink, they switched cashiers, and I had to say the whole order again. The guy that was taking my order didn’t even tell me if someone else was going to take my order or tell the next person my drinks. Wasnt even a lot of drinks… What a weird experience, not the end of the world, but definitely poor customer service. Really wish it was good drinks too… cause the place is nice, but definitely...
