We came here with no reservation at around 1pm. Go inside the restuarant and scan the QR on their Catchtable ticketing machine at the entrance. Wait not long, we were 4th in the queue and waited 10 mins before we got a table. The food is healthier than other Korean food. Specialising in pot rice. It's like a HK Cantonese Claypot rice, but with less oil and less flavour, and comes in a metal bowl instead of a claypot. But definitely more healthy than HK claypot rice. The waitress will add hot water to the bowl after you scoop out all the rice. So that the remaining rice in the bowl can be softened with hot water and be eaten. Portion is really small. More like a light meal. The Catchtable machine for ticketing steals your google account details, because to get a queue ticket you have to sign up Catchtable with your email and Google account. It took me about 20 mins while in the restuarant working out how to delete my Catchtable account which I never wanted as I'm only in Seoul for holiday - Catchtable doesn't make it easy to delete the account! Read moreExpect to wait a while unless you’re there right when it opens. Even if you’re there early on a weekend, you’ll have to wait in line. After 2 hrs of putting our name on the waiting list, tried the famed rice pot.

The good part-it taste very homey. Doesn’t seem like they use a lot of artificial seasoning. It’s wholesome and hearty. Tried both bulgogi and abalone. They did not skimp on the ingredients and it was well made. Totally enjoyed their nooroongji ay the end of the meal.
Is it worth waiting in line? No. But would go back to try the other items in the menu on a tues 11am when I won’t...
Read moreThe best pot rice in Korea! I’ve tried another famous pot rice restaurant, 솔솥, and I think 쵸리상경 is in the lead ranging from the atmosphere, the services, and the dishes.
The warm beef pot rice is absolutely delish. The beef is juicy and tender. The buttery rice is smooth.
The salmon pot rice is impressive. You get to taste the crispy and juicy salmon topped with tobiko.
The well seasoned banchan, side dishes, are amazing. I love the salted squid the most since it goes really well with all the dishes.
I get there on the weekday around 10.45 and there was a queue lining up. Fortunately, I got the last table of their...
