Chaegbar — Restaurant in Seoul

This place is a work of art. (1) The cocktails are extremely good, well balanced, not too sweet. (2) The attention to detail!! The menu is gorgeous and leather bound, the drinks are each book themed and a lot of thought and care was clearly put into each one, even the napkins have “keep calm and drink a book” printed on them. (3) The atmosphere is lovely. We had such a lovely time appreciating the books (there is a small English section and I can still appreciate Korean magazines), enjoying the jazz music and chatting with the bartenders. Cute spot, it's located on the 3rd floor of the building next to the CU on the corner, I follow a different review that said something about a back ally, it's NOT in an ally it's on the 3rd floor of the apartment feeling building next to CU. It's very calm, actually super calm, the staff are attentive and kind, English menus and English speaking team. Cocktail was well balance and unique, I had the three musketeers and it was great, on par with any other high end cocktail bar in Gangnam. Went to this bar during my last visit to Seoul. A bit difficult to find, especially at night. The bar is located at the back alley, behind a staircase. Really enjoyed my time here.
