Located right in the middle of Mangwon market, this popular restaurant is definitely the most bang for your buck. They specialize in 칼국수 which translates to knife cut noodles. You can see all the action right from the entrance where they cut the noodles by hand and prepare the food. My favorite items on the menu include the 들깨수제비 and 손짜장. The first is a variation of the regular noodles. Instead of being cut, the dough is torn by hand into small pieces almost like a gnocchi. Then a generous heaping of ground perilla seeds are scooped on top. Mix it together to create a earthy delicious soup.
